The season of virtual sports is here and we are to kick start our season of eIPL with the bidding for teams.

First, I'd like to thank faggot(ePK) 😛 , Sachit Reddy and Dartreal(eAUS), Josh Whitehead (eRSA), Mortalbeta(eNZ) for the help in this initiative and ofc DonMogul for his idea of sports and entertainment!



BIDDING PROCEDURE:

The bidding is for following ten teams:

1. King's XI Punjab (PUNJA😎 -- KXP
2. Delhi Dare Devils (DELHI) -- DDD
3. Rajasthan Royals (RAJASTHAN) -- RR
4. Kolkata Knight Riders (KOLKATA) -- KKR
5. Pune Warriors India (PUNE) -- PWI
6. Mumbai Indians (MUMBAI) -- MI
7. Deccan Chargers (HYDERABAD) -- DC
8. Royal Challengers Bangalore (BANGALORE)-- RCB
9. Chennai Super Kings (CHENNAI) -- CSK
10. Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KOCHI) -- KTK

You should send me a PM after sending your bid as a part of participating in the bidding procedure for the above said teams:

* BIDDER(s) : The name of the bidder. If it is a partnership venture, do add in all the participants' names

* BIDDING AMOUNT: The amount of BID in INR(Indian National Rupee currency of eRep's eIndia) The base price is 500 INR

* TEAM PRIORITY :
i. Team 1
ii. Team 2
iii. Team 3
......
ix. team 9
x. Team 10

The priority list should contain all ten teams in order of preference you want the teams to qualify for the ownership. See the above list of teams for the key of order.

* FURTHER DETAILS: Add the % share or partnership details if you form in a franchise with other ppl just for transperency. This is the field of choice and not mandatory!

Now that you have seen the bidding procedure, know how the secret bidding works.

- It is the secret bidding with base amount of 500 INR only, means the basic amount you can bid is 500 INR. There's no upper limit for what you can bid.

- As it is the secret bidding, no other party will know how much you sent the bid for and to which team priority you actually set.

- After 48 hrs of the start, the bidding closes and then they are evaluated.

- The evaluation of bids is done with highest bidder(person or franchise who sent the highest bid amount in INR) first and his first priority TEAM will be allocated.

- Next the second highest bidder. He will be given his first priority team that remains on table after allocating the TEAM to the highest bidder. For example, if the highest bidder as mentioned above chooses CSK, then CSK is allocated to him and in further bids, TEAM CSK will be removed. If the second bidder bid his first priority as CSK, that will be not valued as it is already taken away. So, his second choice team from the priority list will be given.

- And the bidding evaluation goes on!

- Highest 10 bidders will get a team each and rest all bids will be nullified automatically.

- The bidders or franchisees will be informed and the list of winners will be published here and also on a new blog that I'll setup later.

- For transperency, the details of all bidders will be disclosed in public.



RULES OF BIDDING:

- Send a bid and PM me about it.

- Bidding is strictly in INR for uniformity. Possibly the foreign nationals may not have INR. For such people, I request to bid in INR as figures and if you win the bid, later you may transfer the bidding amount in INR via Monetary Market or Gold or other currency equal to the value of auctioned INR amount on that eRep day. Don't worry about it.

- If you feel interested enough to participate, but short on funds, do approach some other people who are interested and form a team or franchise to BID together and BID big!

- There's no limited entries of bids. For instance, in these 48 hrs, you may bid any number of times if you feel your last bid is not competitive enough. In these cases, only the ONE highest bid amount entry is valued and no further intrusions are entertained and remaining bids will be nullified. For example, some one had bid solitarily, later some other person approached for partnership and then they together can send a new bid to bid for greater amount being the franchise!

- After the winner list is declared, you SHOULD transfer the entry fee in next 24 hrs from it to stay in competition and then you'll have the chance to rename your team too if you want, after that the tournament begins!

Go here and check out the rosters and formulate the TEAM priority according to your choice.



TIPS AND STRATEGY:

- Be sure you bid big to outbid others if you want a specific team in order to get it.

- Teams like CSK, MI, KKR and RCB are hot! The bidding amount is likely to go high, many folds the basic amount. If you are interested and sure to get these, it's better you form a franchise with others to bid big enough!

- Be smart and gamble with lesser known teams. I guess you didn't forget the real life season-1 of IPL!

- Though the talent of the rosters is a big factor in the outcome, there's another factor called PITCH CURING after you win the team bid which will affect the outcome at your home ground! Luck factor is the biggest player though.



FINAL WORDS:

- Every penny you bid and invest will go directly to the prize pool. This is a non-profit venture and is just for fun and some activity.

- 2500 - 5000 INR will be the sponsorship from my side to the prize pool. Other sponsors are welcome too 😉
