Chairman's Message: A Retrospective of the Summer Quarter

With mere days remaining in the third and final term of the current "Jude Dynasty", I am more than ready to turn my "Big Chair" over to the next SFP Chairman-President.

We have had a successful three terms under my Chairmanship. Our membership continues to grow and thanks to the daily recruiting and reporting of illegal multiple accounts, SFP is poised to take the Top Five any day now. I said on eNPR in July that SFP would be a Top Five party by September, and we are well on our way of making that mark.

SFP has had an increase in media exposure. This Official SFP Media is the fourth of the month and SFP member articles have consistently been in Top Five without buying article votes. This is thanks for our outstanding party writing guild, SFP Freedom Writers, headed by long-time Guild Administrator, Ghost of Tom Joad.

SFP has increased its value in the national political structure, as well. We have sent three or more Comrades to Congress and are the deciding voting block on Congressional election day. We have seen more members in Presidential Cabinets and pretty much are the team of grunts that make the Department of Citizen Affairs the most successful department of the government. In addition, we have an SFP-endorsed Country President in office for the first time in a long time. Our national stock continues to grow and I am sure we will soon enough have a country President from our party.

Worldwide, people are taking notice of our party military Unit, Bear Cavalry, noting it as a true force for freedom fighting. We have also been successful in defending small and large communities against unwanted dictators, including stopping TDK's attempted military takeover of Croatia. Bear Cav may not be the biggest, baddest unit in the USA, but we are the model for resistance war and freedom fighting worldwide.

Our other party programs continue to run well. Members are provided the opportunity to receive a free Q1 house, due to SFP Housing Project run by hoss1965. And since the SFP Rainy Day Tanks and Food program has run so well, we have decided to merge it with our Tanks 4 Tots program and it is Now Open to ALL eAmericans - regardless of their level. This is just the party's way of giving back to the eUnited States of America community as a whole. For more information on RDTAF, see this article.

So yeah, it's been a great three months. I want to personally thank anyone whom has served on the Revolutionary Committee the past three terms. They have been great and are the proverbial "wind beneath my wings", so to speak. I wish continued success to the next SFP Chairman-President, and will be here continuing to work for the betterment of the SFP and the eUSA. And thanks to ALL of SFP for making me the party member with the most party president terms in the history of the party. That's an accomplishment of which I am very proud and is a direct result of the party members and their faith in me as the Chairman.

Announcement and Thoughts on the newest SFP Fund Raiser

I am happy to announce the upcoming Woodstock-themed SFP fundraiser! I will post an article with details on the fundraiser on August 15th, the beginning of the 46th Anniversary of the original Summer of Love!

We will be selling raffle tickets for 200 USD each and, though you will be able to buy raffle tickets for yourself, you will only be able to buy as many raffle tickets for yourself as you buy for friends! Every purchase will get the raffle ticket holder 5 Q7 Tanks, a ticket for our drawings, and a note saying that the person buying the ticket sent the ticket holder some love! Prizes from the raffle will include a wide range of supplies, gold, and USD, and a grand prize of a Combat Stash!

If you would like to donate to our prize stash, you can send donations to PilotPhil along with a note for its purpose. If you want to buy a ticket, keep an eye out for an article to be put out on the 15th! You need only comment on the future article with info on the number of tickets and citizen profiles to send tickets to and send 200 USD for each ticket. The raffle will run through the 18th, when prizes will be announced and sent out!

So in June after the SFP kitchens had finally been cleaned up and the weariness of our last fundraiser had finally worn off I decided we should do another one in August. It is easy to talk a big game when it is two months out but now that the time had come to start I realized I didn't have the RL time to do it right. After the freakish success of our Valentine's Fundraiser:Click here and here, I know how much time and effort it takes and I simply didn't have it. I put out a call to the party to see if I might find a [strike]victim[/strike] volunteer who could handle such a task. Of course SFP's newest rising star stepped up. Jaden A. has agreed to run it this time and it will be even better than before. Bigger raffle prizes, more fun and more love spread throughout the eWorld! The Summer of Love raffle kicks off August 15 and runs through the 18th. Watch for her article on the 15th and get ready to spread some groovy love man. Peace!

Op-E😛 Committee for Correspondence

The open proposal to create a Committee for Correspondence, tasked with forming a Party Program and organizing a General Assembly every 4 months to revise and ratify it, was passed by a nearly unanimous vote of the active party members.

After the vote, volunteer Correspondents quickly assembled. Active participants have included Kevin Sheridan, Comrade Frank, Artela, EddieA, Jude Connors, TomCauchon, shiloh13 and yours truly. There has been an active and interesting discussion covering a variety of topics ranging from internal Party organization to foreign and military policy.

Party members who are interested in or want to contribute to putting together the first Program, or helping to organize a General Assembly on/about Sept. 1st are invited to check out the SFP Committee of Correspondence sub-forum.

A Draft Program is now underway, with particular attention being paid at this point to further development of the Revolutionary Action Plan.

For weeks I have been trying to convey what the Socialist Freedom Party believed, since I am totally lacking in the ability to convey my thoughts I have turned to the 'Old Sage', we believe that any government should feed, arm and house all American Citizen Soldiers below D3. Any government should offer education in the ways of eRepublik without the tint of politics or military influence, any government should offer in game help to feed, arm and house ALL American Citizen Soldiers without political or military requirements.

The Socialist Freedom Party also believes in Volunteerism, we believe that those who have been enriched by America -either with CC or political power- should 'voluntarily' give back to the Homeland that gave them so much; they should be socially aware citizens who 'volunteer' with time, CC or political influence with socially aware programs for ALL Americans. They and any government in America should support, encourage and grow ALL new citizens, instead of pursuing more meaningless medals for their wall; why not 'Adopt A Citizen' instead -you know save a baby. After all isn't the whole point to build a rich powerful Nation, build a Nation that is respected both Politically and Militarily; build a 'Mad Dog' loyal citizenry who will heed the call to battle for America no matter the cost to them personally?
