[SFP] Historic Congressional Election Results - September 2015

History was made on September 25th. For the first time ever, the six-year old Socialist Freedom Party fielded its own candidates for Congress. And in true form, SFP celebrated this historic day by beating the snot off the older, more established Top Five parties.

Thanks to help from our friends in The Black Sheep Party and other great comrades, political and apolitical; SFP was the only party able to surpass 150 votes (158 total). We were also the only party to have over 25% of the vote (26.6% exactly), which means over a quarter of the players voting on the 25th voted for SFP! That's p cool, imo.

After celebrating in the usual Jude way, I got to work with the SFP Congressional delegation. Since we are apparently one of the few parties that have an active Congressional Whip, the whippings began and the veterans began mentoring our rookie Congressmen as we decided to get to work as a unified front.

With the amazing election, SFP was able to get in each one of their thirteen Congress hopefuls and even two blockers, plus one candidate from a sixth party. Here is a list of the united SFP Congressional Delegation (along with the candidate we sponsored from the National American Socialist Imperialist Party, Senryaku):




One of the first things we told the rookies was to make sure they discussed ideas with the delegation before putting them before Congress. Luckily, one of our veterans even made an example of "Why" this should be done. Even the best ideas can be made better with some extra heads helping out.
