[Sam4CP] - Live for nothing, or die for something.

Bet you didn’t see this coming (or you might have if you’d kept an eye on the New Era primary). Sambo112 for CP... well the jokes I constantly make on IRC have come true and now I actually do mean it... Sambo4CP that is, not that I want to sleep with Zaphod, Cyg and Diakun in a weird foursome.



So why should I be your CP for the lovely summer month of July?

I’ve played this game now for a year and a half which isn’t anyway near as long as the outgoing CP, Mr.Woldy, however I’ve seen more than enough of this game, to know what to do. In my time on this eWorld I have been a congressman 5 times. 2 with UKPP, 2 with ESO and 1 with my current party New Era. I feel I have gained the experience of law making (and breaking) during these months in the Houses of Parliament. As well as this I have been heavily involved with the MoD. I became dMoD during the first months of Talon Karrde’s administration, becoming the first UKPP member to be involved in a government position. I was then given the honour of moving onto the top job in the ministry by jamesw (inb4 blames jamesw) I oversaw the building of the BEF, which would later be scrapped, but I think it shows my leadership and drive to get things done. Sadly my term was cut short as my laptop could not keep up with all the work the MoD team was doing.

This month, I was once again honoured to become MoD under Woldy, it has been a busy month along side the man I now challenge in this CP race, Bohemond4. From RWs in Ireland, which we successfully fought back against in some epic battles against mercs Ireland paid for, until a peace deal was stuck, to the invasion of the USA and now the invasion of Belgium. This month hasn’t been a dull one at all and the MoD team has done a fantastic job to avoid losing battles and organising supplies to our allied supporters.

The MoD team has also launched the UK-FU, which if I am voted into office, I will aim to keep running, as it is a new scheme with lots of potential. I won’t waste time here explaining it . So what will a month of Sambo bring?

Well I’d firstly I’d like to say that if you do vote for me, I will carry on getting the eUK involved in TWOs campaigns, by helping out our allies and provided the eUK citizens with eUK battles. I think one of the best ways to do this would be to airstrike, we’ve been planning this for a short while and I’ll really push through a campaign for the UK to finally complete an airstrike.

Secondly I’d like to start to reorganise the the orgs we currently lend to our MUs. I will give each active UK MU with:

10+ fighters and 20 million daily damage - 1 free org

25+ fighters and 50 Million daily damage - 2 free org’s

50+ fighters and 100 million daily damage - 3 free org’s

(Note: The figures above are guidelines and could be changed, I am looking to support our larger MUs (20/25+) with a core of active fighters + If your MU already has Org's don't worry I won’t be taking any away.)

Finally my last point for this article is basically, funding new and existing fighters to improve their training facilities. This was planned during Woldy’s term but never happened, this month I plan to make sure it DOES happen. The UK has a large store of cash that can be put to use. Now this scheme will be tried and tested first. The money will be "loaned" and if we see a successful improvement and cash returned we will start to lend to more players wanting to improve training grounds.

By improving your training grounds, you are effectively gaining "Super Strength" Medals faster, thus making more money and also gaining more strength to inflict on the battlefield.

I will also be publicly asking for donations to help fund this scheme. We will use egov to check player activity to minimise risk for Loans lent out.
