New changes are upon us.
"The following updates will be implemented during eRepublik's 6th Anniversary, on Day 2192.
Empires
Empires are countries that dominate the New World through their extreme military power and vast territories. In order to be declared as an Empire in eRepublik, a state needs to gather enough Country Power.
Country Power
Country Power indicates how powerful a country is. It’s gained by conquering regions and keeping them under occupation for a certain amount of time. The amount of Country Power depends on:
Military Power
- The offensive capability of all the active soldiers enrolled in Military Units, taking into account their division
Controlled Regions
- The number of regions owned, taking into account both original and conquered regions. Regions conquered from countries with high Military Power give more points.
- The more a region is kept under control, the more points it gives (except for original regions)
Determination
When a region is kept under foreign occupation, the people’s determination to overthrow the oppressors increases over time. This leads to a Determination Bonus that multiplies the influence in battles against the oppressor.
Determination Bonus
- When a Resistance War is started, the influence of each soldier fighting for the resistance is multiplied with the Determination Bonus.
- Influence represents your impact on the Domination Bar in battles. The Determination Bonus only multiplies your Influence, NOT your Damage and Rank Points. In other words, players will still contribute the same amount of damage for their True Patriot or Battle Hero medals, but their influence against the opposing side is bigger.
Please note that:
- Influence from Bombs, Rockets or Guerrilla Fights will NOT be multiplied by the Determination Bonus
- Hits done with Damage Boosters and Bazookas are multiplied like normal hits by the Determination Bonus
How is the Determination calculated?
The Determination Bonus is proportional with the number of days a region is occupied. The longer the region is held under occupation, the stronger the determination gets.
Once a region is liberated, the determination will decrease gradually.
For example, if Finland liberates Lapland from Swedish occupation of 200 days, and Sweden conquers the region back a few days later, Finland will still have a high Determination Bonus."
After royally f***** our corrupt government, lead by the traitor NLSP, in the crackhole with the previous update. The one that makes us lose nearly ALL of our income, the admins have decided to grace us with another glorious troll on NLSP, our president with the capacity for economical thinking similar to a mouse.

As of tomorrow we will gradually gain a determination points, doubling, trippling and even quadrippling our damage over time when fighting the polaks.
Seeing as poland occupies half of Europe and has, at any given time, 5 to 10 RW's open, it would mean that "empires" like theirs will have to cut in their unnecessary regions in order to prevent dispersion of their damage. Belgium being the most unnecessary of all ePolish regions, we'll probably be the first to go.
So to all those longing to be free, and all those who wish to be rejoined by their friends I have the following to say: THE MOMENT OF eBELGIAN LIBERATION IS NEAR!!

No one can übertrolls you as you are the despot of hot gas. We were free before you and your Croat/ Serb PTOs are here. You and try to PTO the country but you will not gain respect and acceptance in the eBE community. Have fun being an outcast.

You are the one who is being the bigot with your attacks against MaryamQ and many others. The eBE is fair and open. The laws are egalitarian and just. Since you enjoy breaking rules which was voted by the people, you seek to destroy the government and the state. There is nothing fair or democratic with your PTO. Your side lost with referendums and not are taking matters in your own hands via ignoring the rules and norms of democracy with PTO.
You are no supporter and friend of democracy, transparency, and justice. If you do, you would of apologize long time ago and accept the verdict of the SC and congress.
Again, you should look up the definition of bigotry. Describing someone who is nearly 70 as "old" is not bigotry. It's saying the truth. And I don't think that MaryamQ, as a 60+ year old grandmother minds being called "old" by people in their late twenties. That's not bigotry, you m*ron. That's just saying things as they are.

People should have the right to play this game as they want. They should be allowed to play this game as the game mechanics allows them, NOT as some dictator tells them to. Freedom is a basic right here in Erepublik, and even tho we all know you don't like freedom, that doesn't mean others must share you love for dictatorships. I am a strong believer that players in eBelgium must be free to play this game as they want, regardless of their RL nationality.

What makes you think we want to PTO the country? Just because 1 guy names us all as his accomplices without proof, doesn't make us PTO'ers. Other than a few troll words, no one of us has done any harm to eBE and most have worked properly in several governments.

Well for those who want to play the game solely constrained by Game Mechanics ( by the shouting, that's the majority of the accused TOers ) relax, everyone does.
Both sides of the faction use the rules to thwart each other, and currently that's the gov side. So, people complaining about a group that doesn't want you to just randomly use your citizenship pass, shut up please. As you have the ingame right to do as you please, so do those opposing you have the right to get wiped if they can fix that.
With the new implementations, long wipes will cost dearly, so securing your country from a hostile TO will be tougher/more costly.
Still not a reason to let some people TO the country. There's much more to lose if they succeed. Also for those like Shadowucks who are complaining about the waste of money... by supporting the PTOers who are making these RW they are provoking themselves the loss of money 😛
