Hello,
So... I'm very allergic to bullshit promises during elections. X is trying to do that, Y is trying to do that, etc. Don't know why people don't aim just for realistic purposes. We all want Swiss to be active and to be an important player in eRepublik, but most likely this will never happen.
So let's take and debate every aspect mungos032 said in his article:
1) New immigration law
No idea what is he talking about. He should bring more information about this. I think he refers to the fact that he will restore the Immigration process that we had before. This is actually a normal thing, taking in consideration that we were occupied and had no Congress.
2) New social law
No idea as well what is he talking about. Probably he tries to bring some RL EU policy, but clearly not the case for eRepublik. I mean... are you trying to punish me if I am being social with kimi? xD
3) Reopen financial book
This shouldn't be even close, but if he keeps the record it's a good thing. Keeping in mind that in eSwiss CPs are not very interested in keeping a financial record and using the public funds as their personal treasury.
4) Change taxes
Not sure about the latest agreement with Slovenia, but as established in the past we already would have changed the taxes. Of course this is a normal thing to do, because now he have lands again.
5) Active Government
Hmmmm.... haven't seen that in a long time here so I must introduce this in the BULLS*IT area. I don't even know who is CP right now cause the communication is 0, but this is not normal.
6) Re-establish The Ministry of Information and Education
Information: HELL YEAH! ... Education: hmmm, I don't think we need to educate multies and spend human resources on that.
7) Restore fuction of Forum
Not very useful, because the same people active on the forum are active in game as well, so...

9) Continue with SNA program

10) Maintain better relations with Root
This is a good point. In addition we should keep better relations with all neighboring countries.
11) Negotiate and keep resolving problems with Slovenia
As stated above.

This is as well a good point, but not really depending on us, isn't that so?!
13) Last words: United Switzerland - key to succes!
You ain't being a very good diplomat. You can't say "UNITY" if you don't know how to get along with your opposition and enemies.

A cp who can't manage the real facts, it's 20:13 in Norge and in Switzerland.
The current law is in our forum, oh yes that stuff you want to revive, you don't have the minor idea about your goals.
They just want to accept a group of people from Georgia from the Social Georgia Democrats. Also with that logic, they can accept a group of people to support their candidate and changes and after that our community will be divided into smaller groups and then it will be impossible to get unity.

actually, some people will see dodrew's article(s) as a spam attack, but in reality, its a clever political analysis....
while i DO support mungos032 campaign, and i WILL support him for his CP campiagn, i feel that the topics of ''united switzerland'', the ''total control of the congress'', the ''ministry of education'', the ''make swiss national army stronger'', the ''social law'' and the ''establishing better relations with slovenia'' will be complete failures.
i mean, switzerland mainly needs the following of mungos032's statements:
-active goverment
-changed taxes
-reopen financial book
-create alliances with neighboring nations
THATS what we need, nothing more, nothing less.
oh, and we must find a way to reduce the multi'es and the PTO's in switzerland.
if thats possible at all.
in short: dodrew is right in many points, and mungos should discuss country matters with the sharp mind of dodrew.

Actually it wasn't at all an attack on a single person... it was just the facts said as they are. I do consider both candidates with equal chances. They are by far the best candidates, but we have what we have and we must settle with that.
