[Royal Navy] Sailing the seven seas
The Royal Navy
Cohen Nazar, Second Sea Lord of the Royal Navy, has retired. In a statement read outside the Admiralty building in London today, Nazar announced that he would be retiring after four months of extensive service to the Royal Navy. Like many British retirees he will be going to live abroad so that he can play golf and yell at foreigners. Nazar was incredibly committed to the Navy and he will be greatly missed by his compatriots and fellow sailors.
Royal Navy Reform
Reform of the Royal Navy has been a hot topic recently, both inside and outside the Admiralty. Numerous proposals have been made but the best current effort was started by James Woosh and has sparked in-depth discussion within the Navy on how best to achieve significant improvements in the strength of the Navy. The creation of campaign ribbons for those who have served in battle has also been suggested and has met with a lot of support.
Recognition for Naval achievements
Fleet Admiral pony has announced the first military commendations. These will be announced monthly by the Admiral to recognise those who have worked especially hard for the Navy. The first to be awarded a commendation were Fusillade, James Woosh, Nice Guy Eddie, Del Fuego, AltmerVampire, RodneyMcKay.
Naval recruitment drive
The Royal Navy recently undertook a major recruitment drive under the auspice of “Operation: Spam Filter Overload”. As part of the operation, many eUK residents were messaged with information about both the Navy and the Royal Guards. The operation has been a major success with a large influx of new recruits into the Navy.
