Yesterday we saw the most intense day in eRepublik history. Yesterday Romania lost the 2 most important regions it ha😛
Podolia and West Siberian Region; and will lose East Siberian Region and Urals by the end of the week. Despite these lost battles Romania has proved that it has the strongest army in eRepublik.
Romania is much stronger than Hungary, it is stronger than Indonesia, but it is not stronger than Hungary and Indonesia together. In the past 2 weeks Hungarian and Indonesian armies combined inflicted daily 300K more damage than Romania. Romania had 17.500 citizens, Hungary and Indonesia had a combined 26.300 citizens. This made the difference.
It seemed obvious that Romania will not be able to hold both Podolia and WSR. Defending WSR was the obvious choice, because if lost Romania would have had any real chance to reconquer it. Unfortunately for Romania, many players either had companies in Podolia or they wanted to fight against Hungarians, so a lot of Romanian damage was wasted in Podolia despite the orders to defend WSR. Most of Hungarians fought down to 30 wellness the second day, fighting 10 times just to conquer Podolia. With Podolia Romania has lost 2078 inhabitants, and only around 400 moved to Romania, the rest stayed in Hungary and could not fight any more.
In the 4th hour after WSR was in standby and the wall was at around 60K, the Hungarian chat got active. In around 15 minutes 60 people who already used the hospital and where at over 90 wellness volunteered to go to Indonesia and fight down to 30 wellness. Weapons where bought from the marketplace and distributed. 20 minutes after these people moved out Indonesia conquered WSR.
The resources of the Hungarian Army have been depleted, so the MoD asked for the help of the population. Several hundred GOLD have been donated in a couple of hour by the population. During all day people on chat where distributing money and weapons to other fighters who did not have enough in order to fight. People with low damage where giving away money and gifts to help stronger players in order to insure victory. After victory people where reliving the battles from August. Tears where flowing, but they where tears of joy, not tears of sadness like in August.
It was an epic battle. I salute the Romanian army as they proved to be the strongest army in eRepublik. I salute all players who fought yesterday.
I know your morale is down, some people are considering to quite this game. I urge all of you to stay. This game is not about winners and losers; this game is about the community. Stay in eRepublik. Walk on!
If you leave this game it will be less fun for you and those who stay. Today you have lost, tomorrow you will win. Only cowards walk away after a defeat! Do not walk away, stay and walk on!

kovacskoko.i respect you as an adversary but i don't respect your friends that supply you with free q5 weapons ,just like i don't respect spaniards that give away fake free gold.i'd love to fight real oponnents not cheaters.Not to mention that i put real money into the game.Sorry,but i agreed to give the admins 14 days to solve the bugs.4 days have past,there are 10 left.let's see if admins do their job.If not,most romanians will leave the game.

oarecare you are the first Romanian who admits that Spanish players gave away fake gold and as we know some of it went to Romania. Even Romanian soldiers new it was fake and they still took the money.
Yesterday the battle was not won or lost becasuase of cheats or bugs, but by the difference in population.

oarecare: since i'm playing this game, i received from my country less then 20 weapons, none of them was q5, and no Gold, but i've spent my own (about) 300-400 Golds to feed some hungarian and indonesian tanks.
I think, "only" spaniards, indonesians, itlians and romanians have used any bugs.
But the question is not, why they are using it, only why the developers are letting them use it all. It can't be really difficult to set up some database triggers, which can alert the admins if suddenly too much high-q weapons or golds are showing up in the game.

Zoli, but did you count that Romania wasn't fighting alone? There were many polish soldiers, fighting several times per citizen and also many many many and many more ppl from other countries. For me - it is still impossible, that Atlantis has lost both battles.
Jaca - when I counted the population it was based on all people living there no matter of their nationality

Atata timp cat noi luam ban dupa ban pt nimicuri, cred si ei ca pierdem.
Ieri n-am ptuut sa tankez in wsr din cauza unui ban luat total gratis. Asta ca sa se adauge la goldul ala aparut din neant (si de care din pacate noi romanii nu dispunem).

Asa ca cinste voua daca preferati sa jucati asa si sa va si laudati apoi, ce pot sa zic, noi ne stim curati si ce-am facut in jocul asta am facut-o cu mijloace legale. Poti sa spui asta si despre voi si fratii vostri indonezieni ?
Chiar voiam un tool care sa arate goldul total din joc la fiecare moment de timp, macar cu un update la 12 ore asa, acum e prea tarziu.
Va doresc joaca placuta, iar cand va aparea un joc asemanator fara bug-uri si avand la conducere persoane capabile de intelegere, o sa va anuntam si ne razboim acolo. Ii puteti lua si pe indonezieni, it won't make a difference, atata timp cat jocul respectiv nu va permite gold si arme moca.

Yea it's fun fighting agains Peace but u all must understand that this is the way Romanian Army protest agains admins, that's all. U all must admin that this game is full of bugs.

Words are as meaningles now as they were before, goodbye. Play amongst yourselves and leave us alone.
Strategically Zoli is right: the population difference would lead to this result in the long run. As other Atlantis members were not directly involved in the frey, the pure numbers decided this campaign. The key was to regain the Hungarian-Romanian battle contact after 30 April. THIS was the turning point of India, too, any not some statistics of the Indo industry. In I were to cynic, I would say the whole Ro-Indo war was fake gold vs. fake weapons - but the effects of these cheats were minor to the population difference.
And what now? Romania is still strong, as strenght is based on the combat and working skill of the population. THIS cannot be conquered. I see several good and options for Romania to continue the game. As I told several times, I'd REALLY missed the combination of streght and brain that characterized the play of Romania in this game. Respect for them, and I ask them not to commit suicide.

We really need you in game, to fight in battles like yesterday.
Anyone, who wants the Victory, must handle Defeat aswell.
The game has got bugs, everybody knows, and had got 3 weeks ago, too. But 3 weeks ago, Romania ruled the world. And the Romanians didn't give a shit about bugs, just laugh about the fake gold and the other things. Now, when you are on the bitter side, the bugs become importent suddenly for you. And now you're ready to protest for a clean game. That's just patethic.
If somebody is so arrogant in the time of victory, like you were, act like a man, in time of defeat, too.

We need fair play. But we(ppl everywhere in eRepublik) need eRomania, eHungary, eIndonesia, eChina, eUSA, and the whole world. This is what makes this game great! The differences! There's a lot of different countries and cultures in this world. This difference is important because anybody can know more about different cultures.

Zoli, there's nothing impressive or epic about what you're saying.
It's as simple as that - this is a game full of bugs, and we don't want to play a game full of bugs. We've told them about all the bugs since months ago, we asked them to take the game offline and fix them, we told them to DO SOMETHING, ANYTHING.
Yet, this is "pressure from some Romanian citizens". If that's how they see it, then I don't belong here. I made over 120 friends while being in eRepublik, around 20 really good ones, and that will remain even if we stop playing this game.
During the last months I neglected my job, my friends, my girlfriend, and my daily schedule was around eRepublik fights. It seems that I care more about this game than some guys that are paid to do that.
So along with Alex Craciun, Han Solo, smif, sebahmah, nea_bachus, Groovey, Xtasia, dani36, diu1so, TaviTav, Robius, ghishae, blaster2008, Mistwalker, dragsolux, Iluvatar, Stfn, most of the VM crew (over 50 of the 110 people), most of the other military units (most of them disbanded) and a lot of other guys that have commented in the articles or just quit, we decided to walk our own path.
So a great game to you, wherever you'll find a great game.

The thing with this game is that you as opponents need us more than we need you. Romania will rise again when the game is deemed worthy of putting as much time into it as we've recently put into it.

You couldn't deal with winning (you were arrogant and disrespectful) and now you can't deal with defeat. We have defeated you fair and square. Admins even gave you 220k damage in a close battle, which never before happened in this game... But did that destroy our morale? No... we fought with doubled strength and doubled resolve!
There were bugs on both sides, you can't say that we won because we cheated "more"... We had a larger total population, and we had better communication, better tactical command.
Half a year ago Hungary was only 2 regions. We did NOT quit, we did NOT whine... we DID something, MOVED forward, and now we have at last returned the "favor".
Do not be whiners, walk on, maybe next time it will be you who wins, again. Do not spoil the game for others who have put much work into it and are now winners...
