[RO GOV] Official press release regarding eChina

Day 1,379, 10:13 Published in Romania Romania by Romanian Foreign Office

Good day, eCitizens!

The following article deals with the accusations made on the 25th of this month when there have been some claims regarding a potential eRomanian attempt to PTO eChina’s Congres.

1. Congres Elections

The eRomanian Government will never endorse any PTO attempt in an ally/ proEDEN country. We believe that such attempts qualify as being an unworthy attitude towards a friend. It is foremost disrespectful towards our allies. The basis of all eRomanian Government actions has been respect and cooperation with our friends.

2. Official candidates

We strongly believe that it is the duty of each country, of each PP to check the official lists of candidates. The PP position is one of great importance for a country’s internal politics and should be regarded with more responsibility and attention, therefore eRomanian Government declines any accountability in this kind of situations.

3. RW

Seeing that the rw (eChina vs eNorth Korea) was not going as planned, despite the fact at that moment we had an ongoing battle we decided to send soldiers in your aid. The reason behind our decision is that we are allies and our both ecountries should act accordingly.

4. eChina - eRomanian relations

This last event brings to light a problem in the communication between eRomania and eChina, one of our ally for whom we've only fought massively, constantly being there for them when it was needed. There will always be people who do things like that. They play the game for their own fun, without thinking of the consequences. They always represent themselves. And the game lacks the mechanisms needed to enforce good behavior: there is no police, no courts of law and no prisons for people who decide to cause trouble.

In the same time the Romanian government will always be committed to ensure that the good relations with the allied governments are preserved.

Unfortunately that solution was costly for both governments: we both had to spend considerable resources for North Korea to win that RW. There are several cheaper ways to prevent this thing from happening in the future even if unwanted people would continue to look for trouble:
1. Make sure the Top 5 parties are always in Chinese hands. This way the Party President can’t organize a PTO;
2. Make sure each party has enough Chinese candidates in each region. This way even if the bad people write themselves on the lists, the Party President can delete them;
3. If somehow the above two measures fail, make sure that during the election day there is a strong Anti-PTO team of voters, so they can defeat the PTO candidates in the elections. It is cheaper to pay for tickets to move to the region and vote than to spend gold, food and weapons in the RW.
