Citizens of eIreland,
Last night we held a National Summit with the theme of alliances. Myself and Don Croata pitched the alliance Adriatica to those in attendance and weighed in on why we thought they were the best alliance for eIreland at this current time.
We have met the requirements and Adriatica is ready to welcome us into their ranks as a full member should the people of eIreland vote in favour of joining.
We felt the fairest way to conduct this Referendum in a timely manner was by voting within the comment section of an article. Thus the vote being as transparent as can be.

To keep the voting process as simple and easy to track we ask you to follow the following guidelines:
[1.] we ask for only eIrish citizens to comment on this article.
[2.] If voting please comment just one of the following: YES, NO or ABSTAIN
The voting period will last for 24 hours and cease on April 26th 07:00 eRepublik time.

your attitude saddens me. why are a friendship with croatia for you a no no. many players here are from croatia our mu commander even was their president last month. i cannot condone this. so bulgaria having truces with asteria is all ok but the moment a small country continues a long term friendship you consider the friendship over.

Wow..did not expect such a stab for Bulgaria days after they have liberated you.
If I were to make a bet I would always said Ireland sticks to Bulgaria..guess I was wrong.
We've been MTOd. I'll continue to fight for Bulgaria.
Too be fair.. Bulgaria is pretty bi-polar these days and from one month to the next you're trying to join Asteria. That makes it hard to make decisions based on the assumption that Bg would remain an ally.
Bulgaria might be bi or tri-polar but when it comes to Ireland they have never been.I remember from the days of EDEN and their exit from EDEN and tbh Ireland would have been wiped for years if it wasn't for Bulgaria.I am just surprised (and the old school romantic in me saddened) that so many years and so many things that Bulgaria did are wiped in a couple of days/hours.And not more than a few weeks back Bulgaria stuck it's neck and put itself in a difficult position for Ireland.Not anyone in Adriatica but Bulgaria.

Bulgaria is and always will be a friend. You have MPPs with nations such as Slovenia who actively sough to wipe Ireland. Bulgaria liberated us alongside Adriatica.
This alliance is within our best interests - please respect our decision as we respect yours and take nothing personally. We will always be friends above everything else.
More exactly how many regions did Adriatica liberate?
The whole liberation was done as part of a large offensive liberating Ireland, UK and Belgium. I don't have the total count but they certainly played their part.
Adriatica liberated UK and took the regions of Belgium(there was no plan to liberate Belgium just to change ownership of regions) and take some regions of France.Liberating Ireland was done solely by Bulgaria.
Spain would disagree. As would those who provided funds.
No one nation can claim the liberation - it was a joint effort.
True..Spain was also involved..but Spain is not Adriatica 🙂
Bulgaria would have drowned in the ocean if not for millions and millions in Albanian and Croatian co. We enjoyed the operation and I personally was glad to see Bg there.. but don't act like you did it by yourself.
