[READ] Indonesia - A Crumbling Empire... is it?

Hello everyone,

I was just packing my suitcase when I saw an article written by Crazy man (wew, you would certainly have doubts on his mental capacity to write) and it struck into the stardom of International Article. Yes, I would want an international article as well, but I'm more a realist. So, let me comment his article for a change.

See, Crazy man argued on how Indonesia is crumbling upon it's foundations, and Indonesia is clearly in trouble but we still manage to come this far?

Confounding isn't it. A crumbling Nation but managed to have the idiocy to fight one vs 15 countries in a row... But wait! Indonesia won! ... Is it idiocy or smartness?
Well, idiocy or smartness aside, Indonesia is still a great country and not crumbling if it could stave off 15 enemies.

"Indonesia never was the kind of nation with a big population and a steady growth rate, instead it depended on it's conquered allies and enemies to boost it's declining population and keep up with Hungary."

In Indonesia, we have a kind of tradition called empathy or tepa salira. e-m-p-a-t-h-y, in case you haven't heard it.
If an ally country is flourishing in population, we should rejoice and congratulate them.
If an ally country is deteriorating, we should feel sympathy with them, or even more, when a country is in distress, we will aid them.
Just like we did with Hungary, Germany, Serbia, and now: Russia and France.

We're very open hearted and are satisfied with everything the way it is. Our economy are attractive and we must have some kind of utopia here if some Matza refused to go home when yours truly (romanian empire) called them home.
See, we never commanded them to come here. They enjoyed being here and it's a boon for us and them as well. A totally win win solution. Some of them even became Indonesian.
If that's the definition of depending upon allies to contend with Hungary? That is like saying the earth is flat and the popcorn is made from wheat.

The article continued saying : "But that's about to change. Indonesia one of the greatest empires in eRepublik is starting to see that the road of prosperity and wellness is about to end. Indonesia, well we can't really call Indonesia a nationalist country any longer as only half of it's population is 100% Indonesian, the rest being foreign citizens looking for a better job or just citizens which came along with the territories. That means, there are about 7.000 citizens from other countries living in eIndonesia."

Hmm... Jealous?
Indonesia is the only country so far that had surpassed the traditional view that only a country inhabited by its own natives can prosper and continued to prosper. Can you imagine what's like to have so many foreigners living in your country? Can you imagine that?
No. That's why you spoke sour grapes against us. Just because you can't have a boon and boom like us you thought we are bad and sour, we're crumbling, etc. etc. You are just jealous Romania couldn't become like that even when they annexed Hungary, Russia, China, and ups... Pakistan.

Now if you are entitled to have 4000 foreign citizens (ups... not 7000 like you claimed), can you manage them? Seeing how Romania is already crumbled, one can say that you also want the foreign citizens but you had not the heart to wade it through.

And you forgot about one basic tenet of foreign citizens:
1. If they had matured, they come home.
2. If they don't like it, they leave.

Now, we had once a great wave of Hungarian citizens coming and staying with us for a few months, and then we had Serbian citizens coming and establishing their own, and most of them also had left. Now, you see... Who else stayed in our country? Well... There are american zombies (but they paid taxes...), some Portuguese embassies, you Romanians, and many others.
Now, think. If that's called booming population, that isn't booming. It come and go.
We only benefited from our service and providing warm and nice place to live, get strong, and then come back to their motherland. Now, if you think that's wrong, I don't know what's right anymore.
We only wish to serve, and we had that chance and I think we have done a good job there.

The flux of foreigners are not that great, it's our inner growth that sustained us and made us stronger. We had only 4000 or so citizens six months back and no foreigners, now we had 12000 citizens and 3500s foreigners. And we had once hosted 2000 of Matzas but still going strong...
That's definition of strength I believe, the strength of being gentle and providing, but strong on its base. Our only yearn is for the foreign citizens to always remember Indonesia when they sat on their chair beside the warm hearth and told their grandchildren how we are so funny, friendly, smart, and how our country was and STILL IS beautiful 😃

So, if you are stuck in your already ruined empire, why don't come again to Indonesia?

- Russia: These guys are the best allies everyone could ever had, not only did they let go ofWestern Siberia to a good ally, but this good ally also forced Hungary to give up Ural's, as they knew that a lot of Hungarian gold went in the development of that region, while they invested nothing in Western Siberia. Western Siberia came as a full package from Romania. Keeping Western Siberia was a good move for Indonesia as they had to lower Hungaria's status by making them give up 2 regions instead of Western Siberia."

Mmm... You said they are the best ally just because once in your dictactorship, you tricked your own alliance (ATLANTIS) and start gobbling Russia. Then when those brave and honest people had baby boom and grew strong, you said they are best ally. I wished you had treated them better for once. We even congratulated you for making Russia the way they are now, the best enemy you (F/E) can deserve.

On WSR issue, do you forget how we wrench this territory three times in Three Epic Battles? It was the bloodiest and most thrilling battle in my eLife. Indonesia are very grateful to be allowed to keep WSR on account of our sacrifice and how we had liberated other Russian regions from you.
Now, when foxes started to sound like hens, who is it to believe. You, invaders, or we, PEACE GC, the one who liberate Russia? And Serbia? and Germany? and so many other ands.

"- Hungary: Thank goodness Hungarians are easy to handle, thanks to Indonesia not handling Western Siberia back to it's rightful owners, Hungary has to give up Ural's - a region which absorbed a lot of Hungarian gold + Caucasus another high resource region."

Hungary gets another region called Heilongjiang on a very win-win offer from Rusia Government itself. Hungary didn't give up any thing, they even profited and we felt tepa salira for their success and growth. We are very happy for them, just because your side flunked the 16k gold from Banca de Espana, I forgive your lousy complaint.

"- Indonesia finally gets to keep Western Siberia which is the most valueable region in eRepublik having 3 High level resources, but it also gets to keep Karnataka, another high Iron region, and we all know how precious Iron regions really are."

Mmm... Is there anything that made us get Karnataka? Wew... I wonder, let me remember. Yes. It was Indian Government who was brain-washed by Romanian dictactor and attacked Indonesia. The rest of the territory had been liberated and the relationship of India and Indonesia is great 😃
Unlike yours truly who deserted them after pumping 'em to challenge us.
What a way to treat ally...

"Just imagine what Indonesia managed to accomplish here, they managed to keep Western Siberia which rightfully belongs to eRussia, this way managing to hold on to 2 High Iron regions and it also managed to weaken Hungary by making them give up a heavily industrialised Ural's and Caucasus. That's the best deal anyone could ever make, dragging Hungarian economy down."

Look at the GDP rankings pal. Or if you are high on crack, forget it.

Without California and Texas Indonesia would look really weak as 2.6 Tax payers represent 17% of the countries citizens."

Hungary? Convince who?
PEACE GC is a multi-national alliance where democracy took place. We're not overlord of any alliance, and never be. Have you ever seen any Indonesia becoming Secretary General? We are just grateful that we are respected and we gave respect to our allies.
It's USA who offered us that 😃

"But there has been a massive change, Russia has boomed, France has flourished and Hungary is as strong as ever. It won't be long until Russia will demand Western Siberia back and until USA will conquer California and Texas from the greedy Indonesian leadership and Indonesia will start declining until raising nations will demand it's regions. Bottom line is that Indonesia is a sinking ship and the ones leading the country know it, it's up to them to think how they are going to leach from Hungary's and Russia's military might in order to maintain their status."

Thank you for reminding us on the challenge that still made us play eRepublik.
Surely this kind of provocation always had a silver lining in them: the half truth. It would be a great challenge but also an opportunity to manifest true PEACE in the world.
Now that our allies had grown strong, we would be challenged to evolve ourselves to new level, and it would be so exciting with so many things going on, unlike poor Romania...

"All in all i believe Russia and Hungary deserve a BIG thank you from the Indonesians for helping them maintain the upper hand and for giving them the best territories in the New World."

We thank you too for making us having the upper hand, and for graceful Russia and Hungary for being above us without being condescending. We are nation who remembered favors and debt, surely we are grateful having nations with same thinking. They sai😛 birds of a feather flock together. Surely we are safe and sound, growing together, along with our beautiful alliance.
