Protectionism

As you maybe know, in my last article, I explained the influence of TWs or normal wars to the economy. In this article, I also talked about protectionism. Now I will explain it more accurate.
The word protectionism comes from the Latin word protectio, which means something like protection. Protectionism as an ideology of an economic system, is used to keep the market clean from foreign entrepreneurs. This tactic should prevent from price dumping, without having monopolies or cartels.
If a state or a society wants to introduce the system of protectionism, it has to establish some of the following measures:
-the increasing of duties and taxes
-import quotas (just possible in RL)
-subsidies for domestic companies
-and some other (all just possible in RL)

But what can you do in eRepublik to safe the own market and the wages at a stable price level?
You can buy your daily food, your weapons and maybe even your raw materials from citizens with the citizenship of your country or/and citizens that you trust.
For sure, it is possible to sell your products to foreign countries, but if you can, please sell it to your own citizens. This measures will increase your country’s economy.




Protektionismus

Wie du vielleicht weißt, habe ich in meinem letzten Artikel den Einfluss von TWs oder normalen Kriegen auf die Wirtschaft erläutert. Desweiteren erwähnte ich den Begriff des Protektionismus.
Das Wort Protektionismus kommt vom lateinischen Wort protectio, welches soviel wie Schutz bedeutet. Protektionismus als Ideologie eines ökonomischen Systems, wird verwendet, um dem Markt von ausländischen Unternehmern sauber zu halten und heimische Unternehmer zu stärken, und so die Wirtschaft anzukurbeln. Diese volkswirtschaftliche Taktik sollte das Preisdumping verhindern; ohne die Bildung von Monopolen oder Kartellen.
Wenn ein Staat oder eine Gesellschaft den Protektionismus einführen will, muss er dabei einige der folgenden Maßnehmen durchführen:
-die Erhöhung von Steuern und Abgaben
-Importquoten (nur möglich im RL)
-Subventionen für heimische Unternehmen
-und einige andere (alle nur im RL möglich)

Aber was kannst du in eRepublik, als einfacher Spieler tun, um ein stabiles Preis- und Lohnniveau zu garantieren?
Du kannst dein tägliches Essen, deine Waffen und vielleicht sogar dein Rohstoffe bei Leuten aus deinem Land und/oder Leuten denen du vertraust kaufen.
Natürlich kannst du deine eigenen Produkte immer noch ins Ausland verkaufen. Du solltest aber doch großteils an die Bürger deines eigenen Landes verkaufen. Diese Maßnahmen werden die Wirtschaftleistung deines Landes steigern.
