Íratlan szabályok [unwritten rules]

Vannak az eRepubliknak íratlan szabályai. Egy ezek közül az, hogy nem hozunk ide IRL-t. Igen, tudom, mind emberek vagyunk, és 'ott' is élünk, sőt 'ott' élünk, és ez csak egy játék - de a játék elején megegyeztünk, elfogadtuk, hogy egy egy komplex és komplett világ. Azaz ami itt történik, az a mi dolgunk és itt nem más.

A mi történelmünk itt nem úgy szól, hogy volt egy Trianon vagy holokauszt vagy kisantant vagy amerikai polgárháború, vagy nagy októberi szocialista forradalom vagy már RL esemény. Az a másik világ, ami párhuzamos ezzel, ezek a dolgok ott történtek. A mi történelmünkben más dolgok vannak. Magyarország lerohanása, mediterrán szövetség, a hétnapos királyság, angol-belga unió, Ausztrália elfoglalása... és még sorolhatnám, de nem teszem, akit érdekel az e-történelem, az forgassa a Wiki lapjait vagy az alkalmankénti cikkeket Zolitól, másoktól.

A lényeg az ez: ez a mi történelmünk, és ez a mi jelenünk. Nem a másik, annak nincs köze hozzánk. Itt pl. Erdély soha nem volt magyar, és ha netán elfoglaljuk is, akkor sem lesz az függetlenül az RL érvektől mellette vagy ellene. Mert itt a játék szabályai szerint kell élnünk és nem az RL szabályai szerint. Attól hívják szimulációnak ezt, hogy más és máshogyan történik benne, mint a valóságban.

Ne hozzunk ide IRL dolgokat. Tisztátalanná teszik a játékot, zavarossá a terveket, és elrontják a szimulációt. Az IRL az IRL újságokra, médiákra, blogokra tartozik. A mi újságjaink az itteni dolgokról szólnak, amiket mi itt tesznk, vagy akarunk tenni. Ne keverjük a kettőt.

There are some unwritten rules in eRepublik. One of them is that we should not bring RL here. I know, I know, we are all humans and we live 'there' too, or rather we live 'there' and play here... but when we started playing, we agreed, we accepted that this game is a complex and complete world. So what happens here is our task and job, not else.

Our history here does not contain things like Trianon, Holocaust, antant, American civil war or the October Revolution. These are RL historical events. That world is different from ours, that world is parallell to ours, these things happened there and not here. Our history contains things like Romania conquering most of Hungary, the seven-day kingdom, the Mediteranean Alliance, Belgium unioning with the UK, the occupation of Australia, and so on... I could list them for days but those interested should turn to Wiki pr an occassional article, like Zoli wrote some days ago.

But the important fact is, that THIS is our history and THIS is our present. Not the other one, that has no bearing to our life here. For example whatever the arguments pro or con in RL, here in this world Erdély has never been part of Hungary, and so even if we ever conquer it, it still won't be a Hungarian region. Because here the game's rules are those that we must live by. Not RL laws and RL arguments. That is why this one is called a simulation and thing are different from reality.

So, don't bring RL arguments here. They make the game unclear, they mix up plans and they wrong the simulation. RL news and arguments should be in RL newspapers, blogs, whatever media. Our newspapers here should be about our world - whatever we do here, plan here or think here. Don't mix the two.
