"The new alliance is destroy bonds between Teden and Usa and Brazil"

Canada, America and friends abroad,

I direct your attention to this article.

There has always been an appetite for change. We all grow bored of this cyclical game, the never-ending clicking, the shiny new ways Plato offers to waste your gold, and the amazing missions might distract you for a while, but eventually, you will someday ask, what the heck am I doing here? So naturally, you may seek a new way to entertain yourself, be that joining a new nation, becoming a polifag, a great writer, or betraying all your allies.

The first red flag to me was the NAP with Spain. The second was the NAP with Poland. These nations were once our greatest allies, then things changed, and they became bitter rivals. America's leaders decided perhaps it was time to try it again. Kind of like inviting your crazy ex-girlfriend for dinner and hoping she changed and things will be better.

When Brazil left Terra, that marked a turning point for me. We could continue in Terra (which many nations have complained that is ineffective, a USA shield, an Eden playtoy, and generally incompetent as of late), we could leave and become neutral, or we could throw all our allies under the bus, both in Eden and Teden, and join Spoland.

Of these options, I thought of them all (Emerick even did me the favor of leaking those logs in where we discussed it briefly), mind you, and concluded that regardless of what would happen, I could not picture myself re-alligning myself with Spoland, for several reasons. As much as I wanted to make eUSA a member of a superpower alliance, it was not worth it. My main rationale for not wanting Spoland, was that above all, they are selfish. Poland especially, while it is a strong nation, is not worth the headache. They seem to think that since they are so strong that they deserve more than others. And yes, Poland is a good ally, but only when it suits their needs. I guess you could say the same of eUSA as of late.

When news of this new alliance was leaked by Canadian President Rylde, eUSA labeled the whole nation of Canada as traitors for showing the world that they were considering joining a new alliance without Teden. Lol. Rylde didn't want Canada to be a third wheel and he did not want to abandon his allies, so he refused the offer to join the new alliance when given to him.

And let me remind you, Spoland was the first to plot against Eden and they are now having problems within ONE as well. Macedonia (FYROM) has been tanking against them as of late constantly, due to their disagreements. I asked Evry and his supporters if they believed Spoland would give them equal footing in a new alliance, they resoundingly said yes, who knows, maybe they might have, but all history and evidence points to that they would not have, and you can see now by these logs that they simply wanted to break eUSA and Brazil from Teden to join them.

My rationale for not joining this new alliance was that, I don't trust Spoland, they never gave me reason to trust them, no charter would convince me otherwise until I saw it with actions. I did not want to ruin years of friendship with our Teden allies, and above all, I'd rather have a bunch of weak loyal nations I can count on rather than a strong, unrealiable, selfish one.

So now I ask the eUSA government, knowing that Spoland has no true intention of making you an equal, but rather they want you to join them, will you? You've already been retarded for trying to make it happen, but can you go the full mile, will you go full-blown retard?

"tbh we have no obligation of being in weak alliance" -Polish CP

And this is so true, and something I've been saying a lot. Poland has nothing to lose in this situation, they can stay in ONE or join the new alliance, but in reality they will still win in either scenario. eUSA has everything to lose in this scenario. If they join the new alliance, they lose the respect of all of Teden, and there is no guarantees this new alliance will even work. Simply talking about joining this new alliance has already made many of its allies lose credibility in the nation, and rightly so.

Maybe I couldn't stop all of ONE invading us a year ago, maybe Israel Stevens couldn't beat Poland itself, but I like to think that anyone with common sense can stop the government from making a terrible decision. I don't consider myself a master strategist, but this game is so simple that you really do not need to be. Eat gold and poop out damage. What you can't buy though is someone who understands foreign affairs and the attitudes of countries. History is a good way of predicting how nations will behave, and understanding a player and his mentality greatly help as well.

I would like to see the supporters of this new alliance do their usual damage control and whatnot. It will surely be entertaining. But if you are one of the sane among the masses, and do not want to see the nation make a choice it will forever regret, then, all you need to do is write an article about it, voice your opinion, write your congressman, and if you feel so passionate about it, demand answers from your president, impeachment is always an option (thought not one to be taken lightly), do whatever it takes to make sure regardless the outcome, you had your 2 cents considered. The alliance hasn't been signed yet to my knowledge, so there is still time for your opinion to be of worth.

So I'm sorry, ruling eUSA elite, but do you still believe your wetdream will still come true?

It's a Mad World, isn't it?
