"Should Australia Leave EDEN?"

Day 1,109, 19:36 Published in Australia Australia by Kelzing

Currently Australia is in a major war with Indonesia (if you didn’t know this I suggest you get on more often)! In this article I have held an interview with three people. Discrate1 (DoctorDry), Venja, and Infin. The interviews revolve around the subject of the condition of the current battles and if it is good for Australia to leave EDEN. I hope you will enjoy!

Interview with Discrate1 (DoctorDry):

Q: What are your thoughts on the recent battle between Australia and Indonesia?
A: Once again Indonesia invades, once again EDEN sends little or none help, once again we lose another Australian State or Territory. This has happened 5 times over the space of 1 year, all because we are in an alliance who refuses to help a fellow ally citing the reason as "You aren't important enough"

Q: Why do you feel that EDEN hasn't been helping with the battles in those 5 times over the space of 1 year?
A: Direct quote from EDEN officials "Australia isn't important enough to send any significant help" We are simply a cash cow. We are in the alliance to pay the 300 gold per month to fund their operations in Europe whilst receiving rarely any alliance assistance especially in invasions. We are a cash cow and we always will be in EDEN. Any attempts to leave this crappy alliance is automatically rejected by the numerous "EDENphiles" in the eAustralian senate.

Q: Would you like Australia to change course and leave EDEN?
A: Yep. Definitely. EDEN has made it clear that they do not see us as an equal and valuable ally so we should not waste tax payers’ money on this ridiculous "alliance"

Q: What do you think EDEN would do if we left the alliance?
A: Well they would be extremely annoyed that their cash cow is gone. They would then spam our media with articles saying "ohhh we love you, you are great" to try to get us back. They did this last time there was talk of joining phoenix. Also I suspect they would PTO us as a last resort.

Q: What other alliance do you think Australia would join? Is there a possibility that Australia will create their own alliance and bring other countries from EDEN with them?
A: I would like to see Australia become neutral and then maybe form a new alliance down the track with countries such as eUS, eChina, eNZ and eSA. But unfortunately we are getting the same old governments with the same old people in it who refuse to leave this alliance and to form a new one.

Q: What actions do you think need to be taken to go down this road?
A: All EDENphiles (senators who blindly follow EDEN no matter what) need to be pushed out of the senate and a new government needs to be brought in with new people instead of the same old people who keep the same old things in place.

Q: Do you think a new party needs to be formed for this new idea to happen or do you think this idea will exist in an older party?
A: The idea already exists in every single top 5 party, but unfortunately the people who have this idea are not getting elected to the senate, instead the EDENphiles are. As for government, we keep getting the same kind of CP's each time who bring the same people into their cabinet.

Interview with Venja:

Q: How do you feel about the current battle?
A: The battle is not going well. Our enemies outnumber us both in terms of size of our own army and in terms of MPP's

Q: Do you think that we will have more MPPs soon?
A: We have just proposed a MPP with Croatia which brings us to 6. That’s about where we had hoped to be given our finite sources of income

Interview with Infin:

Q: What are your thoughts on the recent battles between Australia and Indonesia?
A: As long time foes, it is inevitable that conflicts will flare between Australia and Indonesia from time to time. Australia has still been recovering from the unfair Multinesian PTO and it is typical of Indonesia to exploit such a weakness.

Q: Do you feel that EDEN has not helped us enough in these battles?
A: I understand the pressure EDEN is feeling at the moment. The scene is currently quite hectic. I do hope that they keep us in mind in the long run because we have worked together well for some time now.

Q: Would leaving EDEN be a good choice for Australia in your opinion?
A: Well we need to consider the alternatives, neither of which are appealing. Phoenix is dubious because that would align us with our long sworn enemy Indonesia. Neutrality would leave us open to exploitation from both sides. I personally think we should stay with EDEN for the time being.

I hope you enjoyed the interveiws and since you went through this wall of text... enjoy the pictures!
