Join the new world

Dear friends and dudes alike,

I apologise for the bland nature of this article. Much like Cobbett, himself, I find that this type of literature (obligatory thank-you letters) should be done to enlighten the public rather than to attract readers. This is not something I will maintain throughout the term but, as I will see myself getting pretty busy with lofty ambitions, I will save my energy for later on. So, if you are not interested at this point you may as well ignore the rest.

I am fully aware that I was voted into this office on the back of my impressive shows in congress (although not my only recent admirable, activity but the only one easily accessible to the general public). To relieve much of congress, the manner in which the earlier congressional term went, that of the best arguments hitting a wall of inappropriate abuse, is something that will not be continued. The previous congressional term, on the other hand, saw this abuse calm down and proper discussion taking place and is something I was impressed by at the time. However, I disagreed with the product of the discussion as the compromise of left-wing and right-wing values ended up being a profiteering machine that was ineffectual and pointless. So, whilst I will be continuing to co-operate with congress, I will be doing so on their time as a listener. I am under no obligation to follow the advice of congress, and will be using this right under the most extreme of biases. Instead I will be prioritising my own ideals of home affairs, activity and community in the most bolshy of ways.

Now onto what you should expect of my activity. As I am fully aware, I am the first official Party President of the People's Unity Party and such a position within history will be acknowledged thoroughly. This role has placed me in the unenviable position of writing the first constitution which will lay the grounds for, what will hopefully be, those PUP members that will be looking back from years into the future. This will be democratically acknowledged by a majority at PUP before I am willing to let it be published. Quickly moving on, maybe it is my background in the PCP that has coddled me but I believe that the PUP is in need of warming up before it takes the position as the most influential party in eUK history, and so I will be doing everything in my power to stretch the hamstrings of the party. I don't see any reason to explain my activity-prioritising plans in excruciating detail now, because it would be a waste of time (and, really, you can't stop me), but I will be taking influences from the past to introduce new schemes and competitions that will prioritise the party of the nation. So I apologise to the eUK community for my temporary withdrawal from my role as the Socialist front-man of the nation and I hope that this will not degrade the value the public might have from reading the discourse that has been had (and no doubt will continue) on the national message-board.

So, I have explained what you can expect from me and what you can expect from the party in the following month. So there you go, I wish you all a very merry December and, although I can't promise it, I hope that my term will not make you throw up.
