[PTI - Press Release]: Presidential Triumph

Day 2,298, 23:29 Published in Pakistan Pakistan by kualkerr The Warrior Poet

Dear All,

With profound delight and pleasure, allow me to inform all the esteemed citizens of ePakistan that Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaaf has triumphed, yet again, this time in Presidential Elections.

The candidate nominated by PTI, Vigoncalves86 (also supported by Vento Aureo and Pakistan Freedom Crew), has secured victory with an absolute majority of 52% of the total votes.

We, officially, congratulate Vigon and all ePakistanis who vested their faith in him. We also congratulate the challenger, Sparkfyre, for providing a stern and exciting competition which went neck to neck till the very end. We all know she is an invaluable asset of ePakistan and capable of adding enormous value to any constructive cause, that might come up.

This triumph, however, does not consummate our victory. This isn't where it ends; this is where it actually begins. A lifetime of civil wars and political anarchy have made our e-lives miserable and boring. The society and its values have continuously been on a downward spiral and have been deteriorating every passing day. PTI, however, proclaimed peace and unity even when we were not in power; we claim it even now that we have been given the responsibility of leading this country our of its misery and boredom.

But one man or party simply cannot achieve this. We will need a coalition, we will need to bury the hatchets and work together. Some might say its impossible. Well it isn't. PTI have led by example to illustrate that the myth unity CAN be achieved; peace CAN be ensured.

3 months ago, we were scattered and divided. We merged our political parties (PTI & PRF), we merged our Military Units; and made one single entity. This entity is now the biggest party of the country with the congress majority and elected president. Our decisions are being done on merit, not by favouritism. We chose to support two dioists in consecutive terms; which is a testimony of PTI's objectivity and merit. Someone passed a derogatory comment to me a few days ago that PTI has never achieved something without assurances from other parties; the success of this internal system of ours is a glorious answer to that comment.

As for the Military units, we dissolved Thunder Squad in favour of the Pakistan Army. There was never any point in having divided MU/damage in a country which is already having a tiny population. We reasoned together and decided to compromise for the sake of the country; gladly, it worked. Pakistan Army now have an operational commune system, in which workers are being given salary above the market rates. They also are being given periodic supplies as well. Joint strikes are being contemplated to practise our war-code. This system is not perfect but atleast they are baby-steps forward in the right direction and its actually working, for a change. And we also have managed to keep the army separate from any political affiliation and command in army is obviously being given on merit, rather than any kind of political subjectivity. Formal improvement is expected to be introduced by the President on this system imminently, to fine-tune country's military tactics.

My esteemed colleague, Sparkfyre, recently commented on an article that "words are empty unless they are backed by action". I totally agree and I am happy that here, the case is the opposite. It is our actions and their success which are being backed by my words here. And being a spokesperson, my words are the voice of my party. So I am glad we are getting on the same page after all.

As Vigoncalves86 described in his agenda which can be found here, joint military cooperation is vital for us right now. And for that, the government will work with all military units of the country and organize trainings to calculate and converge our damage.

All of this haven't been done by one person. It took a collective effort to do it. And it will require an even bigger collective effort from all esteemed parties/MUs of this country to take this project from a party to a national level.

Unity is possible, peace is possible. But it will require some restraint and a lot of hard work from everyone. This is our vision, a better/stronger ePakistan; with greater number of citizens, a stronger military might and most importantly, a dignified community where we can socialize without any animosity.

I hope this will be a beginning for a better ePakistan. The question is, are we up for it? Or are we too busy condescending and playing the blame game? For the sake of ePakistan, I do hope its the former.

Best regards,

kualkerr
