[President] Meeting ze Germanz.

Day 1,973, 12:58 Published in Denmark Denmark by pho3nix

Hi there.

I'm not going to let this get any longer than it should. Last night, I and a number of senior Danish players sat down in a meeting with parts of the German government. In a friendly manner, we discussed the future of the Confederacy - yes, that's a new word we're calling it. As should be obvious, the Confederacy consists of two countries. We agreed that while our countries are separate, both of us has a stake in the other's state of affairs. I, as your President, agreed to finalize the new treaty - which looks great by the way. Part of it includes us paying 20% of our monthly treasury income to power the union. That might seem dramatic, but in term of actual numbers - it's not specially much. That's putting it frank.

We also decided that Danish focus should be on Denmark. We're a small community with some troubles that we still are not out of. Honestly - and this is once again me being frank - I expect the lot of you to try a bit harder in the upcoming weeks. We have congress seats to fill and win. A PTO-party is still in our country and needs to be dealt with. Meanwhile I've tasked Maine Coon with increasing our communication with the Germans - which will be her main focus. That means we need more people helping out the MoFA to keep in touch and build relations with other nations.

I'm about to presidentially enforce the Welfare Program. I'm also about to try and negotiate a Danish MU being at least partially financed by the Confederacy. I'm handing over Party Presidency to Percival Dumbledore, who I've been able to sucker in on playing again. I'm also hoping, for the love of whoever is up there, that we can see at least a partial revival of Grev Per and/or CrilleP. We need all the hands we can get - and I know those two can be quite a handful if they put their minds into it.

Here we go, this is getting way too long. If you have any questions about the meeting yesterday, feel free to drop me a PM. Or better yet, start a thread about it in the forum. Discuss it on IRC.

But for funk's sake - act like the Danes you are!
Let it rip this month!
