[PRESIDENT] Farewell

Day 1,172, 12:53 Published in Pakistan Turkey by kualkerr

And so... Kualkerr's era comes to an end tonight!

Before the end, i would confess that it has been the greatest honour of my eLife serving all admirable citizens of ePakistan.

When i took the oath of presidency about 29 days ago, i knew the term wont be a walk in the park. With a behemoth walking across our manland and another one lurking around it (china n USA respectively), i knew that despite all my 'percieved' wealth and power, there would not be many things i would be able to do to stop them. Iran had already issued a threat to us with their president personally messaging me and telling me that they would pass across Pakistan to india/china with our consent.. or without it! And finally the threat from our arch rivals India was always there.

Moreover, the economy had collapsed due to chinese invasion. Exodus had ditched us long ago, as expected. And the fellowship we had with some of the powerful nations was breaking because of the demise of Phoenix. So i had almost negligible reasons to be optimistic in 30 days of my term.

As it stands today, we have survived even the most difficult of times. We avoided a wipeout, we retained our regions and We have most of our lost regions back including our capital. Civil wars r finally settled (the hard way).

But, despite a few notable achievement of my term, i dont consider it a success. Because, my objectives were slightly different. Keeping in mind the significance of our brand new regions of iron and grain, i knew it could be possible to realise the dream of a babyboom... and an economic and militaristic system which could acomodate the growth. THAT... was my biggest goal.

Unfortunately, it didnt work out. May be one term is really too less to carry out such a extravagant blueprint. All my term, i kept struggling to avoid a wipe-out while trying to make sure we get freedom. *sigh*.. but... its done now. And i am rather happy about the shape pakistan is in as of now... compared to how it was through out my term. So i feel i m leaving on a high.

In the next presidential elections, i endorse my full support to misteriosa... who has worked tirelessly for Pakistan ever since she came here. She has been a great friend, leader, manager, soldier and commander. Its been an honour fighting alongside her in almost every battle i fought in Pakistan. I have complete trust in her ability and competense to lead the nation in a difficult time ahead. I request all the Pakistani citizen to vote for misteriosa in elections tomorrow.

.... and so my era ends here. But it is a new beginning for me. Beginning of a new challenge. I plan to leave for a journey. I plan to walk the road. I dont know where it leads, yet... but i do know that, whenever the Motherland will call for aid... Her loyal son n servant would answer the call. When ill return, it'll be the beginning of the greatest revolution in ePakistan, ever! I promise!

I bid you all, a very fond farewell!

Pakistan Zindabad!

Your President & loyal servant of Pakistan!

All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are los... the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost... From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring... renenwed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king!
