Day 5 - Dull is Dull
If I'm being honest, its been an slow start to my term but we are now getting everything sorted and straight. As I speak BEF supplies have been sorted and are now being handed out to all workers we are just clearing up the back log of WRM payments, which is a another story but I wont bore you further. I will also add that I will NOT drop the NHS MU at any cost, I know a few people have spoken loudly about the Government dropping this scheme. But Under my Presidency this will not happen, I have received far more support and messages for the NHS MU to continue and it will. Yes the NHS is costly, it has been for the last 4/5 months but this is a long term investment to keep our young players interested and contributing to our country.
So if you are under level 25 join the NHS MU (Receive 500 health + 5 Q6 weps daily)
Again I will remind all from 2nd/4th BEF you need to move across into the old 3rd (now 'The BEF')
MoHA
Now our MoHA team have a slow start this month, Max Blue received a promotion at work in RL and I wish him all the best. Of course that means he has the sense to concentrate on something worthwhile, but it also means I welcome our new MoHA for this Month, Ayame Crocodile.
Acroc has got the ground running already and will be looking for a few faces to join him in the Home Affairs department. Our first PMQ's (Prime Minister's Questions) will take place on Tuesday in #eUK at 8pm and last for 1hr, so if you have any questions please direct them to him.

The proposal made by Emergy has now passed with 10 sponsors and so a vote for congress ingame is underway. Again the effects of this tax change, I predict will be small but do expect possible further changes in the coming days as I try and fine tune our accounts.

As you can expect every country president is playing all their cards close to their chests at the moment. I am also doing the same to be honest, I don't want to limit our options for the future. We have seen potential new alliances break down because of leaks so I ask you all remain patient as these things can and do take time.
Final Note:
Things are finally getting straight, so expect alot more activity and results from my government this week including PMQ, Quiz more guides and finishing the BEF merge.

I do not see any good coming from the tax change on RM, but (as always) I hope to be wrong.
Good that the NHS MU will have priority. It is a non partisan place for new players and with the experienced ones now in NHS MU I do think the ones in NHS MU will also be better informed soon and will become the UK's future.
Nothing is dull, only when you are doing nothing about it. 😁
I think the NHS MU is a great idea and I'm happy that BigAnt is not going to drop it. I wish we had the funds to make it bigger. We need to keep the newbies in the game and hope the gov is doing a recruitment drive to get more people interested in the game.

Forgive me for being dumb but is that game time, GMT, BST, CET, Eastern, ... ?
As most of are in the UK and we are playing eUK, I assume it would be GMT.

That doesn't make sense. Why would you use GMT when UK time is currently British Summer Time (GMT +1). I suspect you actually plan to hold it at 8pm BST 😛
Dan Moir is correct, but if it was before the war then BST would not exist and therefore would be 19:00 hrs GMT.
