Saudações a todos!

As pior suspeitas confirmaram-se para Portugal: o México não vai cumprir o acordo e a prova está no ataque que surgiu em 3 frentes, sem qualquer contemplação pelo Tratado assinado.

Dessa forma, informamos a ONE do sucedido, directamente ao Secretário Geral responsável máximo, que iria averiguar este assunto para que pudesse ser resolvido.

Entendemos também que pelo anúncio do Presidente do México não só em não aceitar o Tratado (que assinou e subscreveu no jornal oficial do Governo Mexicano) mas também em não pagar qualquer quantia em gold pelo rompimento do Tratado, resulta num duplo incumprimento.

Para o nosso País, por todo o esforço feito, pela demonstração de boa fé em aceder ao pedido do próprio Presidente Mexicano que nos pediu uma reunião para chegarmos à Paz, vemos no espaço de 6 horas, esta cascata de acontecimentos do dar o dito por não dito, de invocarem várias motivações internas, inclusive de quererem dar impeach ao Presidente.

Que fique bem claro, que o jogo assenta não só nas regras escritas, mas também na tradição e na forma como os países se relacionam. Uma das coisas que sempre foi respeitado foi a actuação de alguém de uma equipa de Governo que representasse o País, mas mesmo que assim se entendesse não haver qualquer legitimidade, no caso concreto falamos do próprio presidente do México, eleito pelo povo.

Não existe outra solução até que o eMundo se manifeste contra o México e obrigue o mesmo a honrar a sua palavra, senão continuar a guerra.

Como se não fosse suficiente toda esta situação, por volta do meio dia (hora portuguesa) um membro do Ministério dos Negócios Estrangeiros procurou junto do nosso MoFA e da Presidência acordar novos termos de paz, que foram recusados, dada a falta de credibilidade do México em negociar como se encontra.

Assim que o México der um sinal claro de que têm condições para honrarem compromissos poderemos negociar, com penalizações bem mais graves que o tratado inicial.

Iremos continuar com a Guerra até que o Governo Mexicano possa emitir um comunicado a esclarecer todos estes eventos.

Greetings to all!

The worst suspicions that Portugal had that Mexico wouldn't follow the treaty have been confirmed. The attack has struck in three fronts without any regard for the signed treaty.

That was the reason we informed ONE, through the Secretary General of what had happened, the reply was that he would look into this situation.

We have the opinion that by the recent news by the President of Mexico in not only rejecting the treaty (that he signed and subscribed in the official newspaper of the Government) but he also informed that they wouldn't pay any amount of gold for breaking the treaty, not respecting two times in a row.

To Portugal, all the effort done, showing our good faith into accepting the request of the President of Mexico himself to achieve peace. After a 6h period this fall of continuous events giving their word and taking it back, of talking about internal problems, including the fact that they wanted to give the President a impeachment, results in open war as you can see by the following links.

Let it be pretty clear, that the game does not base itself in writen rules, but also in tradition and in the way countries interact with each other (as long as no game rule is disrespected). One of the golden rules was the fact that when a member of the team of Government acted in representation of its country, and even if we accepted that they had no authority, in this case we are talking about the President himself, elected by its people.

There is no other solution, until the eWorld manifests against Mexico and makes the country honor its word, but to continue War.

As if this wasn't enough, around 12 a.m. (portuguese time), a member of MoFA from México requested a hearing with the President and MoFA to agree to new terms of Peace (a new proposal after breaking the previous), which have been refused, due to the lack of credibility of México to negotiate in this time being.

Portugal will wait for a clear sign from México that they have the means to honor the responsabilities, then we will negotiate, with more severy penalties than the initial treaty.

We will carry on with the war waiting for a official message in the government newspaper that can clear everything that has happened since the treaty as been broke.
