[PRES] An Update On Recent Events

Hello, eFilipinos!

The last few days have held some interesting events, including of course, the Party President Elections. I myself won my Party's Presidency to hold it for a sixth time, and a few other old faces remained the face of their parties, including Revilo X and President of the Up-And-Coming SMM Party, Paul Delos Santos. I'd also like to congratulate first-timers Comrade Joe, and my IRC-active friend Rupert Jaradal. Both are hard working new players, who are rising stars in the ePhilippines, exactly what I want to see in this eCountry. I'd encourage all players to take players like this as an example, and get active in our community. Run for political office, get on the forums, join IRC. Participate!

Next, some news on the current actions of government. Over the next couple of days, the Department of Home Affairs will be undergoing some restructuring for the sake of increasing productivity and efficiency. If you work in a government company, and will be needed to move to a new government job, our Director, Revilo X, will be informing you.

In the Foreign Affairs Department, Minister Of Foreign Affairs, Niall H, has posted this article about getting involved in his department, as well as some information on the country's goals abroad for the month. Anyone interested in Ambassadorial work, or just the foreign affairs of our country in general, please take a look and hand our MoFA a vote or a Sub if you like.

Lastly, I would like to make a personal note about my own party. Further organization is surely needed, and therefore our party organization will be making an article with information on this within the next few days.
