My fellow Americans,

So, it’s been a rough few days. We started off the week, by not being able to secure our Top 5. It was a brutal loss, no doubt about it. But, we will rebound. Because that’s what we do.
Above all else, we are resilient.

The names of the people that were critical in ATO, are too long to list. If you shouted, wrote an article, or moved to a new party, then you were of great service to your country.

There’s only one thing left to do, and that’s vote to keep the AFA out of Congress.
Vote AMP, USWP, Federalist or We the People. Doesn’t matter which. All are loaded with quality candidates. Do your part and VOTE!




Invasion!

You also may have noticed that we were attacked by some Macedonians.

There has been a lot of speculation that we lost the first two battles on purpose, did we really lose them on purpose?

Maybe.

When the Macedonians invaded Maryland, we did not have our Natural Enemy bonus against Macedonia yet; because there were rogue Natural Enemy proposals from a Macedonian PTO. This prevented us from being able to NE Macedonia in time. If ever there was a case for the United States being partially PTOd, I just proved it.
Our allies in Russia were also in danger of losing some of the territory that they pay rent on in Norway. The Turks, decided that it would be fun to try and liberate regions in Norway, that are part of a treaty. I deployed the Special Forces to Russia to help defend them.
Our cash reserves are also running low, thanks to Glove and with the threat of PTO on the horizon, and our cash flow being disrupted, now is not the time to be emptying the coffers.

Without the Natural Enemy bonus, with our allies in need, and with fiscal responsibility in mind, I made the decision not to go all out for the battle for Maryland.

On Sunday morning, I proposed an alliance with Poland. During this time, the Macedonians invaded Pennsylvania.
Again, I decided to hold off on countering until all our pieces were in place.

So that leads us to today. The day where we would make our stand.
Take a look at how that stand is going. Looks pretty good to me. I don’t want to get cocky, and declare victory... but come on... look at how it’s going.

Our allies in Brazil, Spain, Poland, Russia, as well as a host of others have stepped up to the plate, and been there for us.

Today, we turn the Macedonians back.
Today, we take the fight to them.

This was like a game of chess, played out over multiple days. We were waiting for specific pieces to fall into place, before we focused all our efforts on the Eastern Seaboard.

We have 50+ regions. Losing a few regions, in order to help our allies, is something that we should always do.




Macedonian Non-Aggression Pact??

True story: The Macedonians offered us a NAP a few days ago. In fact, they’ve been whining and crying for the better part of 4 days now, begging for a NAP. I have steadily refused them, because we hadn’t even tried to stop them.
Now that we’ve put a tad of effort into beating them (and done it easily), I plan on continuing to refuse their spineless pleas.

This is ‘Murica. We kneel to no one.


Mexico

There’s been a lot of furor around the loss of our Mexican regions. I’d like to speak about a few things on that matter:

There was a treaty signed during the Civil Anarchy Administration. It stipulated for the return of all Mexican regions.
This was not my call, and I had no part of it. If you would like to blame someone, then please blame the Congress that signed it into law. You can view the list of Congressmen right here. Please note my name is not on that list.

I am legally obligated to follow the terms of that Treaty. To not do so, would be to risk impeachment. This is the path that Congress decided upon, and I will respect that decision.


The Future

You can be damn sure, that we’re going to take the fight all the way to Macedonia. We’ll take it right to their home regions if we can, although don’t get too excited about that. The Macedonians are some of the whiniest people in the game. They will almost assuredly fight against themselves in a RW, to cut us off from reaching their homeland.

It’s what they do, because they are spineless.
