[PONY] Pax Equestria

Day 2,252, 15:08 Published in USA USA by Derphoof

Derphoof trots home from a long day, thinking about the will of Pony and the Old World that preceded our present existence. He arrives home and finds himself restless. His hooves pacing the floor, he suddenly feels the urge to write.

He sits down and pleads to Pony for guidance, asking to inspire him with revelations of the past to reveal the will of Pony to his people….

And so it happened.

“Call upon Pony and he will come to your aid, for he is loving and bestows glory upon his people."

The Age of Pony was upon all who dwelled in the Old World. All creatures lived under the guidance and splendor of Pony’s superior intellect and understanding. No creature could match them or rise up to threaten their Empire of Love. Peace was upon the world... the Peace of Pony.

Yet, as they lorded over the lesser creatures with tolerant subjugation, they wanted more. Nothing was on the level of their splendor. No creature could appreciate the beauty of the world like them. No creature had intellect as astounding as them. They needed another being to share these experiences with. So they needed to create an equal creature with as much potential for greatness as they themselves contained.

So they began reading texts of ancient magic to see what could be done. Engineers had to create a creature to compliment themselves. So they made a bipedal creature. A being who could ride with Pony across the plains, one who could appreciate the world with them and understand the workings and mechanisms of the world. They assembled the Elements of Harmony and, using the ancient magic of old, they created him.

Pony created Man.

Man was the greatest achievement of Pony. Man found Pony to be extremely adorable and they lived side by side with one another in perfect harmony. Man rode the Pony across the fields. They marveled at the wonders of nature.

Pony taught Man the ways of the world. They taught the new creatures how to love and tolerate all creatures of the earth. That which was seemingly disgusting was to be tolerated. Even those who were seemingly vile were to be loved. No qualms or conflicts existed amongst the society of Man. Nor was there conflict between Man and their gloriously hooved creators.

Pony and Man were happy together, living in the Peace of Pony.

And so it remained for a time….
