After a good month of very stale fighting around the World, things have changed in a big way today. Eastern and Central Europe has seen a huge rash of battles today that involve a lot of countries homelands. It all started with Russia's weak invasion of Mazuria last night. Poland was low on MPPs with only 6 due to their swapping with Spain so they thought they could try it. It failed and while they are continuing it today, it may have just been a ploy to distract from the numerous major battles occuring around the globe. Serbia and Hungary are trying to into Croatia, Romania is invading Hungary, Iran is invading India, and Slovenia just attacked the Rhone Alps fortress. I am going old school with my old daily battle reports. Here are the major battles around the world and the current status of them:

As you can see there are some pretty major battles going on right now. Which leads me to my next topic:

Both Sides of War

I thought that in my next article I should admit to my mistakes and come clean to eCanada to set the record straight. I made a promise in my campaign platform to bring a real war to eCanada. There were some options I had in mind but the 2 main ones were either swapping with the US to get to Mexico or invading France. I have no more intentions of doing either unless eCanada was invaded by one of them so I feel it's safe to say. When I made the promise, France had 5 regions regained after their Spanish and Polish occupation. Today they have 19 regions and a bigger population than us. They also have MPPs with Hungary, Serbia, Russia, Brazil, Mexico and Ukraine. Those are some very strong MPPs and the invasion would certainly fail and would end up haunting us big time in the end. I am not going to be responsible for our countries occupation like what happened with French Toast.

Mexico is just an incredibly expensive venture. We would have to make 2 declarations of war which each cost us 650 gold. That brings the total to 1300. We would have to make about 4 region swaps with the USA to get us one border with Mexico which will be about 300 gold and the total to 1600 gold. Then to invade Mexico we would need about 1000 gold at least for the battles and tanking possibly. This will be 2900 gold. Now if it worked then I would be extremely happy for eCanada and I think it would be money well spent. However, to swap with the US on the 25th when our MPP expires would mean cancelling 5 of our MPPs with Ireland, Australia, India, Croatia and Greece. That's another 500 gold worth of MPPs. And also please look at the MPPs Mexico just signed with Poland. If we had done that they would have had the same MPPs signed and the whole operation would've ended up a complete failure. In hindsight I am extremely happy we didn't consider this plan.

So there it is. I will take heat undeniably for failing to deliver a real war to eCanada and I take full responsibility for it. I apologize to everyone in eCanada for failing to deliver on my promise. However I don't regret making it because at the time, the conditions were right for a possible war. Please accept my apology. As far as daily battles to fight in and training wars, I guarantee that for the rest of the month we will have a battle every day to fight in. It may not be a real battle for eCanada but it's better than nothing. For now we have a duty to help our allies and I urge everyone to fight in the Slavonia battle that I linked at the top of the article.
