[PCP] New Avatars, Che Gourmet and a Belated Interview

Hello fellow party members, and evil outsiders 😛, Welcome to a new look PCP Update Newsletter. Some of you may remember that we used to have something similar to this a little while back [ here ] and I felt it was time we bring it back.

So once a week from here on I’ll be publishing an article like this (if people like it of course and it fits in with the future plans of PP’s or if no one else fancies taking it on themselves). It’ll contain updates, surveys, graphs, goings on and a few different features every now and then as well.

And just like the old format at the top of each article there will be a navigation system so that this can act as somewhat of a hub for PCP members and others to see what we’ve been upto, get involved and hopefully learn a few things.

As you can see there is currently a few buttons on the navigation bar, I’ll add more as we get a few more features or if any members would like to also publish a regular themed article and have a button added for it. At the moment the Guides button doesn’t link anywhere but I’ve included it because I’ve nearly finished the first part which will be published shortly.

Right then enough preamble from me lets see what’s been going on shall we 😃



This is something we’ve needed for a while in my opinion, our old border did it’s job but wasn’t very dynamic and in fact I thought it was incredibly flat being just a rectangle with edges and a box for a personal image.

So thanks to the lovely Rory Winterbourne and with a little tinkering from me, I’m proud to announce we now have a new set of Borders for those who would like them.

*Place for your Name or Personal Text
*Personalised to show MU logo and Colours
*Possible to have Characters ‘break out’ of the frame

If you’d like to have the new border, either message me with a link to the picture you would like to use, whether you want your MU featured and if you’d like your name or some personal text at the bottom. Or alternatively put the same info on a shout in the Party feed.

More MU templates will be made as they’re requested, so please don’t feel that you can’t have an MU featured just because it hasn’t yet been made 🙂



This has been something we’ve intended to do for quite literally months now, The thread where we decided upon the name was created way back in November! Making it quite possibly the worst ratio’d difficulty to completion task we’ve ever achieved. Huzzah!

But happily we have now finally got the forum thread up!

So if you’re a new member of the forums, or have yet to sign up, Get on over to http://www.erepublik.co.uk and join the eUK forums. Put up a self-portrait of myself riding a majestic whale/sheep hybrid up above the President's desk. I will probably also crack open the absinthe and watch the world burn around me.

It's been a fair old while since you first joined the PCP, How have you found it?


I have found it comforting. We may not be that competent or popular or efficient but they have always accepted the fact I am incompetent and will only ever hurt their public image.

-I refute everything Zaphod’s saying, He hasn’t gone far enough 😛-

If you could tell a new player one thing what would it be?


erep is just a game. Don't take the party politics and inevitable bawwing too seriously and just be yourself. You'll have much more fun.
