another way of ppl trying to get eIndo prez banned? wizzie anyobne?
A very shallow act from a very shallow minded person, whoever he or she is. I don't mind about winning or loosing, but this is just pathetic. It's only a game for heaven sake.....Instead wasting your time hacking eRepublik, you can use it for far more useful, like hacking al qaeda for example.....very shallow....very shallow.....
The money wasn't transfered back where it came from. Why?
probably propaganda. They don't want Australia joining in on the Malaysia war

You transfered the money to National bank of Indonesia. Either you made a mistake or you were hacked as well (which would explain your previous article...)
Whilst it may be said "All is fair in love and war" hacking destroys the possibility of both here. It is doubtful that even the humble two-clicker on which this place relies would survive the alternate Capitcha nightmare.
Admin - urgent investigation required - Save us to save yourselves.
If you are willing to send the money back, it proves that you are a class act and a good bloke. This hacking bs has to stop!

Just had an interesting conversation with some RL friends.
Interestingly, there are evolving legal views, both after recent scams on EVE and Second Life (Massive Multiplayer Online Games, or MMOGs).
To date, there is evidence of successful arguments both ways - however the prevailing view pushed by most MMOG Administrators that the money purchased is not real in an online game context - or, is solely the property of the distributor (ie MMOG Administrators)in which case it was never really your virtual money to start with. (I didn't know that, either!)
However, there is now an evolving view that companies which administer or run multiplayer games online, and sell virtual product (ie - GOLD) for real money, will soon no longer be able to successfully argue this money has no real value and is therefore not their responsibility in terms of tracking theft or liability. It would be the same if you will, as buying credits for a video game using loose change - if the machine took your money and didn't allow you to use the credit as you saw fit, the owner of the arcade would either fix the machine, or offer you a refund.
In fact, in our country, the Australian Taxation Office has recently warned games which allow you to make profit and transfer virtual money back to real money, may be subjust to income tax and should be declared as any other income.
My point is, that I do strongly believe MMOG Administrators needs to investigate issues of online theft and fraud such as this - not only is the law starting to envolve in ways that shall make it their responsibility (just as soon as someone has the funds and time to bring legal action - or prompt the lawmakers)... BUT -
It also makes sense from the perspective of a MMOG Administrator. If money can be so easily hacked and stolen (even through other players stealing a password) - then what will be the impact on future people's desire to spend RL money on your game?
Food for thought.
