[ONE] Official statement about the preliminary results of the eKosovo poll

Dear citizens of ONE and Friends of Serbia,

As you may know, the developer team published a preliminary analysis of the eKosovo poll. After the blog article, a real flame war started between the affronted Serbians, and the IncI and EDEN trolls.

If you would haven't check the status of the poll, I we show you the intermediary results.

As you can see, there are some weird states in both charts.

In the first on there is Turkey, the close ally of the ONE, and conventional friend of Serbia. But the 84% of the Turks voted for the independent eKosovo. 'Whhhhaaat?' you may ask.

There are two things to tell you about Turkey and their relations with Kosovo.

1. There are warm feelings between the real life Kosovo and Turkey. You can't change that, and even if an ordinary Turk is fighting for the ONE or Serbia countinously, (s)he maybe voted the independent Kosovo because of her/his RL feelings.

2. In the eRepublik there are a lots of Cyprian and other TERRA or EDEN member with Turkish citizenship. Their votes are also counted as Turkish votes, even if they are from hostile countries. So please don't think that a whole nation betrayed you. If you see the articles about eKosovo the most of the troll comments are from the IncI with Turkish cizitenship.


We would like to ask every Turk who haven't voted yet to vote for 'eKosovo as a region of eSerbia', not because of RL feelings, but because of eRep feelings. In this game your are the allies and friends of Serbia, so you should leave your RL feelings and help your friend in need. If Kosovo will be added as an independent country a lots of Serb will leave this game, and Serbia will have another front in the constant war.

The second thing people argue about is Poland and sometimes Spain.

As you might know Poland and Spain had 10/10 and 9/10 bonuses for months in the past, and a lots of congressmen from these countries gave citizenship even for the players of EDEN and TERRA. So the results of Poland are disorted.

Also we would like to thank for the citizens of Montenegro, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, New Zealand, Romania,(!), Czech Slovakia, Denmark, Greece, Russia, Moldova, Mexico and Indonesia for the votes

We would like to ask every ONE citizen, and every eRepublikan who like Serbia to vote for the 'eKosovo as region of Serbia' option.
And we urge the countries to publish articles to help Serbia about the poll.
