[OFFICIAL] Update #6 from the Speaker of Congress

Day 1,129, 22:17 Published in Japan Japan by Geno Garon

Welcome, citizens of eJapan. As many of you are aware, the forums have gone through a major revamp several weeks ago, and are now more clean, easy, and user-friendly than ever. If you have not done so already, please GO THERE NOW, as that is where the community does up to half of its most important stuff! This will also be my last update as Speaker, as I am not running for congress again this month. Here's what's going on in your representative body this week:

1: A New Training "Army"
Congress is currently voting on a proposal to keep the JIA (Japanese Imperial Army) active as its offensive, mobile army, while creating a new, stand-alone unit called the JSDF (Japanese Self Defense Force), which will focus on home defense and training newer players. As of writing, the vote is in favor of the proposal.

2: Congress Votes to Region Swap with the USA
Easily the most important thing congress has voted on this month, the Congress has fairly positively voted for a region swap with the USA, which we are now seeing play out. Chubu is the "region of choice" for American "occupation" so if you currently reside in Chubu, make sure you shuffle out before it's too late.

3: Congress Votes on JEC Funding
A unanimously positive vote grants 4 gold to the JEC for moving tickets and advertising to protect Japanese elections. Not much else here...

4: That's pretty much it for this week, so to fill more space, NOW YOU GET MY LITTLE PONY.
