[OFFICIAL] Update #4 from the Speaker of Congress

Day 1,112, 11:33 Published in Japan Japan by Geno Garon

Congratulations, citizens of eJapan. You have, once again, astounded the experts by rallying against what most considered to be a very one-sided win for Calon, and turned it into a major victory for eJapan. You should all be very proud of yourselves, but don't get too excited; there is still much work to be done! Here's what's going on in your representative body this week:

1: Vote to change the MoS election time
After the discussion here, Congress is voting on moving the voting of the Minister of Security to the beginning of the congressional month, to the same time as the election of your beloved Speaker. Speaking of which...

2: Speaker of Congress Election
Spoiler alert: I won.

3: Resource Swap with South Korea
Congress debating and discussing the potential benefits and challenges of swapping regions with South Korea in order to benefit our national economy, although talk has stagnated as international politics moves faster than we have. See also Congresswoman Sophia Forrester's latest article. If you have some insight or suggestions though, please feel free to post them.

4: Discussion on IRC and forum ownership, and how some people think it's not fair

5: Grain tax changes
Congress has already voted through this issue, and grain companies should find themselves more profittable and competitive in eJapan.
