As many probably have noticed we have hit a rough patch, a really rough one. This tournament has turned things upside down, the progress we have made has been undone in a single sweep. Most of you have seen the rewards, huge increases in energy regeneration. This causes a lot of trouble for us. We can normally win in TWO prime if we coordinate properly. We proved this with the great Hunserbian and Slovenian Carnages, but with this regeneration increase we stand no chance to win once a battle becomes an epic battle, and to have a chance to win it we need to push it so hard that it becomes one. See the problem? It’s a vicious circle.
What are we going to do about this?
We are going to do the best thing that we can do: We are going to have fun. From now until the tournament rewards end (day 2133) we will do everything we can to fight as much as possible in epic battles, gather up those points and save the energy bars we get from the rewards. Let us do this as a nation. Let us just have some fun in this tournament and focus on getting eUS a good position to get a good shield. The last tournament we got a Q1 shield. Let us go for a Q6 or Q7 shield this time! If we all pull together and focus on fighting in epic battles we can do it. If you can’t afford to use weapons, don’t worry about it. Fight with your fists or bazookas if you hit harder with those. This competition is all about hits, not damage. So let us use that to our advantage. If we can’t out tank them in damage, let us out hit them.
Yes we might end up getting wiped by Poland, but it’s not really that problematic. We will get back from there. Remember, last month we started with only 2 regions. We had 3 enemies on our soil. Now we are down to 1 enemy and we have made great progress.

What will we do after the tournament?
After this tournament is done we will go back to business as usual: fighting TWO. We will NEVER give up. We will NEVER surrender. Just because we take a break during the tournament it does not mean that we have given up—far from it. We are already working on moving forward. This game is like chess, you need to think 10 steps ahead to play your enemy into your traps.
Airstrike and battles
As I mentioned in my latest article, Romania decided to airstrike Bulgaria. This has been a hot topic lately with several articles written about it. The controversy about this airstrike is that Romania somehow managed to attack 1 hour before they should have been able to. Some might wonder why this matters as it’s only 1 hour and the attack was going to come anyway. The answer is that it matters because they could attack before the RW lockout for Norway was done. We could have started an RW in a region of our choosing, and thereby blocking Romania from Bulgarian regions.
Last article I also mentioned that Venezuela and Spain both decided to NE Mexico. While the Venezuelan NE didn’t go through, the Spanish one did. After discussions, both countries agreed on having a training war. This means that Mexico does not risk losing their regions, and the war will be closed shortly.
Let us do this together! Let us get at least top 20 in this tournament and get a nice shield. LET US HAVE SOME FUN TOGETHER AS A NATION. We seriously need it!

I am confused. They are gonna raise the WAM tax to %25 to not get wiped. But you are saying we are going to get wiped. ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I say we might get wiped for awhile, this tournament has bumped up TWOs damage so much that top 7 countries are all TWO countries. It is hard to take direct battles right now, we have to play smart.

Okay let's lay out some facts.
1. The dive started when we got wiped.
2. The dive did not stop once the WT got reduced, it barely effected the loss rate.
And 1 question.
1. If we don't gather money in some way, how do we expect to get our regions back?
25% is to much period. You can get money back without Putting people like me in the position to not even be able to fight. So i give you all my money for what? This is a one way deal. The government gets the money and i get nothing. Not fair any way you look at it. I understand the need for a tax. I don't understand the need for 25%. I have been playing this game for almost 4 years. I have always been a eUS citizen. I have participated in Countless pto/ato operations for the government. Paid what was needed and helped many players. Now for a payback i get told we need your money more than you do. It is best for me to go.
You get COs, you got an okay hit. COs should bring in some for you. You also still profit from WRM production.
not much profit mate. Not enough for me to even WAM. At 15% there isn't much profit either but at least i have a chance. But in the end this game is supposed to be about fun. I have worked hard to be self sufficient AND help out other players. That is what is fun for me. 25% makes it impossible to do both and damn hard to even fight with q7's. 15% i wont be able to help as many people but i can still fight. No one has given me a good enough reason to live under wiped/25% wam tax.
Heapseppo I have to agree with Waysted ,I am not a tank but when I can, I fight for U.s.a If the work tax goes to 25% again I will change Cs and with great sadness, will not be for a Cot country.
I waited 1 month for the U.s change the work tax and in that month I could not had profit in my companies, I had to fire more than 60 employees if the tax rate back to 25% will not help much the U.S.
Funny how one of the most vocal [due to CP elections] person anti government, now that he`s in the government, does exactly what he was preaching against 😁
I was never against taxes, as long as the money finds it way back to the people. What I am against is to tax all the people and only benefit the govt army. I always said that we should use money on EVERYONE instead of just a small part.

I think the first tax to raise is the import tax - to help offset the advantage countries with lower work taxes have in selling goods in us
Next I would like to see the data that justifies the tax increase to 15% let alone 25%.
How many factories does the average person have?
I have 2 which at 5% are profitable
So I am now paying 3 work taxes (my job + 2 factories) - so 15% of average salary (not sure if would still run both factories at 15% tax
at 15% (if I still ran both factories I would pay 45% of average salary
at 25% this would jump to 75% - but in reality only 25% since I stop running my factories since no profit (unless prices jump)

So is this the strategy element that I'd yet to find in the game? There are limited numbers of battles or something like that?
If a region is already under attack for one reason or another, it cannot be attacked again. If that is a border region or a region that was the likely target of an Airstrike, you can force a battle not to start or for an airstrike to land somewhere else.

You really read poorly don't you? Oh well, what to expect from an Hungarian. If you had half a brain you'd be able to figure out why we are losing all of a sudden. At least we don't cry about it like Hungary did when they lost 6 regions a day and cried to TWO for help and got ignored. 🙂
