[NoTie4CP] Make Holland Great Again?

Dear citizens,
As many have noticed or heard, I'm running for Country President of The Netherlands. You can see the five previous medals shining on my medal and one could ask: Isn’t it tiring? Are you still be motivated or will you just live of your previous accomplishments?
None of that is the case. With each consecutive presidential term I’ve had, I feel ambition to keep the Netherlands growing stronger and more relevant in eRepublik. In a broader context, that will be the main goal of my term in October. Yes, let’s make the Netherlands great again (dun, dun, bad Donald Trump quote).

But we’re already great!
Now, the Netherlands will not start on a new sheet with my presidency; many of the current accomplishments have been made over the past few months under many great governments. Simply put, the reshuffling of our resources and the fact that I’ve invested millions of cc in the eNetherlands had made it possible for us to claim some glory in this game.
The ingredients were laid for a Netherlands that would finally be an independent country and that could exert (minor) power over our enemies and in favour of our allies on the battlefield. The recent governments have indeed acted upon that goal and the results are clear. We have invested massively in our foreign affairs and as a result have mutual protection pacts with many allied countries and at times are a key partner in defeating enemies (e.g. Croatia last month, Germany and Italy earlier). For the first time in history countries are actually asking us for their help, instead of us only whining to the big boys to get noticed. Just last week, we managed to successfully invade the United Kingdom - a country 5 times our strength - in cooperation with our good friends from Hungary and Canada.

So what's next?
Nothing too radical really. I plan to continue transforming The Netherlands into a country that is war-ready, efficient and able to push above our small size. I will contribute all my personal money for this goal, just like I did the previous few months. Our ministries will be centralized to just the Ministries of Home Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Defence and Finances to shift some focus from our exaggerated focus on domestics instead of playing the actual game of eRepublik. Our current MPP stack will be upheld and possibly even further increased. We will try to hold on to our new colonies in the United Kingdom while we still can, but only when this is rational: We can't hope to permanently occupy those lands. Even with the loss of these lands, I will guarantee our flag will fly to war regularly.

You do whatever Asteria tells you to, if they tell you to be enemies with the eUK you will be.
^ Such bullshit. No one ordered us to attack the UK and no one orders us to go on a perpetual fight with the UK.
But who ordered you to stop attacking UK regions? It certainly wasn't in your best interest not to continue and try and take Scotland and NI.
We have had no orders at all to attack the UK. We did so on our own initiative after the UK attacked France in cooperation with Canada (and Hungary which later happened to jump in).
And perhaps WE ''ordered'' others to take Scotland and NI, instead. I fail to see how it is in our interest to border Ireland (with Colin Lantrip as payroller) and/or the mess in Canada with MKD, Italy (who has unfinished business with us to start with) and Albania.
Just because you want us to fall for that trap doesn't mean it is in - our - best interest. Perhaps in your interest, agreed.

Yeah I know what ridiculous things Trump said, but while we're making the Netherlands great, why not put the wall at a more convenient spot. 😉
And we'd basically be renovating a historical monument and I guess the Germans would be more easily pursuaded to pay for that. 😉
Especially if we first wiped them from the map and are prepared to make a deal to give them back a DDR-sized region. 😛

Great plans. But I'm a bit worried to see neither a Ministry of Recruitment & Coaching or a Ministry of Information in your plans.

The idea is good, wake the country up and get a more open view to the eWorld, but I don't think it is necessary to remove these ministries. Because what are the gains? You want to put the Coaching & Information experts to work in other ministries? Since these ministries costs almost no money to maintain, and their ministers are motivated to work on them, I don't see any reason why closing them will improve to situation in eNL.
Make a minister of fun or something, not everything is serious business 😛
