[Norway] As one tree decays, a sapling is born from its shell

Great people of Norway and foreign friends and allies:
Today I'm writing this article to inform about Norway´s current situation concering EDEN, Ásgárd and our frineds in general. I apologys for this article being delayed. As vice President the publishing was my duty, but I've been spending the past week in England doing volunteer work against poverty. Hope it doesn't cause too much trouble...

For a long, long time Norway as a people has been uncomfortable as a member of EDEN. For over a year Norway has been on the brink of leaving EDEN, and create an indepented allaince with Finland and Sweden, however when loyalty of an oath was put up against friends, we chose EDEN. There are several reasons for why we didn't leave, but I can assure you all that damage was always the last thing discussed. As EDEN started breaking down for real, we realised not only that we've been decived to take part in "the new ONE", but also that leaving now wouldn't be a betrayal. There's no longer any doubt that Norway won't be remembered as the rat which fled the sinking ship.

Even though the alliance concept continues as it always has with ONE/CoT vs EDEN and all that, new times are emerging. As the tree of EDEN decays, the tree of Ásgárd takes nurishment in the mutual respect, honour and love for the member nations. This is the brotherhood, felloowship and alliance Norway belongs to and which we wants to be a part of.

Now I want to make clear that Norway is in no way going against EDEN. Even if we're no longer the same alliance, we wish to stay friends with our friends, and neutrals with our neutrals.

Last but not least I would like to thank on behalf of several Norwegian eGenerations for great years in the number one alliance in eRepublik´s history. It's a shame it's over, and I wish all of you soverignity and welfare!
9th of february, Norway leaves EDEN.
11th of february, Norway joins Ásgárd.
