We recently had congress elections, and our wonderful dictator president asked newly elected congress members to donate their 5 gold to the NHS.

Personally I would be equally keen to see a list of those elected to congress who did not make a donation.
ok, so go see who was elected and take away these lot. being elected does not mean you're obliged to give away to gold anyway. you earned it for a reason.
My point is that actions speak louder than words.

people seem to think that the moment you become a congressmember, you're suddenly a philanthropist also and now you're expected to give away some of your gold.
Giving away your gold isn't only for philanthropy, most of all its a gesture to show your becoming a congressmen to do congress stuff rather than just to get some gold and a medal
giving away your money isn't 'congress stuff,' however.
I'm sorry that i forgot to send the gold. :/
