'My history in eRepublik; an insight into what Japan used to be like'

Day 1,061, 12:48 Published in Japan Pakistan by WaseemK

I was 13 years old, still in the 8th grade and an obsessive reader to heart. eRepublik was 20 days old and in it's beta-test stage. It was love at first sight. (There's an article by my great friend Emerick that has some great pictures of what Beta looked like. http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/erepublik-photo-album-1042901/1/20) I had aspirations to be President and do all sorts of crazy things. And this game was just the place for it.

IRL I live in San Francisco, so I chose the USA as my e-citizen's birth-place. Nave Saikiliah(A little secret.his real name is his citizen name backwards) was the President at the time, the war module was not yet released and /v/akistan was the world's super-power.

I turned 14, and erepublik got through it's first full month, there were many many many bugs and for a while the game was called bugrepublik. Come February of 08 I decided to join the Democratic Party which was the third largest at the time. Benn dover was the Party President/ which eventually turned out to be a very solemn alliance within the U.S government. One of the all-time greatest citizen's of eRepublik Platonic was at his prime sparking great debate in the Forums and media outlets while playing his role as the vigilante conglomerate owner. If you guys ever wanted to know what true intellect looked like take a look at his articles on his newspapers. This man was a genius.

The war modulle was released for the first time at around may 2008 and there was great debate to testing it out or stating at bay. Whatever happened,.... happened and I just wasn't a big fan so I moved to Japan.

Japan at around this time, was very small in numbers , and a very quiet neutral country. The previous president took over South Korea which was generally inhabited. Origineel got elected , and I pressured him to get me into the system. And so he did, much to the dismay of the public, he elected me Minister of immigration. I started my company Yoshinoya ( which later on became Japan's first ever Q4 Food Company) and Origineel became my business partner. We had money, we had power and we were ready to take off. His 2nd term, he elected me Vice President, and with that influence I started my Political Party (National Party of Japan).. His third term, I ran against him but lost by a narrow margin and through his humbleness I was Prime Minister. Yes, that's correct Prime Minister. I was above the Presidential position, he had all the power, but I was making the decisions. Japan's first and only Prime Minister.

I ran the next month and was the clear cut winner. NPJ was the largest party in the land and I was ready to take charge. Being one of the blessed diost, I had a strong tie to the middle east and it eventually led me to create an alliance with them (PEACE GC).. Japan became a founding member and we were safe from all attacks. My next term I worked on the economy and developed the concept National Bank of Japan and from what I gather they still use that today. His presidency has been credited with:
Maintaining economy stability: ridding Japan's dependence upon foreign goods; achieving a minimized and consistent rate of inflation; surpassing Austria, Hungary and the Netherlands in official rankings
Doubling Japan's Gold reserves
Purchasing Japan's first Q4 Hospital
Providing free nationalized health-care
Improving foreign relations with all neighbouring countries
Signing the PEACE Global Community alliance charter; thereby ensuring Japan's security and raising Japan's public profile
Helping in the defence of Hungary during World War I
Establishing the new and current [national forum] ”

I also was the incumbent President going into V1 for the first time. Which did turn into a big mess. But nonetheless the implementation of resources was a huge change. After my Presidential terms, I went on to serve a total of 11 more terms in Congress in numerous other countries including Japan. Also other than owning 9 companies with Origineel that was it for me, and my political career. I Since then I've not participated in any political matters whatsoever. At the starting of 2009' the incumbent President Akki's term began and my interest in eRepublik went downhill. After all I was starting high School for the first time.

It was day 400. Since then I've
-Turned 15 and then 16.
- Got my first job as a salesman selling electronics
- Got my driver's license.
- Got my first car
- Made a facebook (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000971540255)
- Got accepted in to a private school, finished High School early and now attending my first semester in College.
- Took my first midterm.
- Got my first speeding ticket 😑
- Joined 6 other sports clubs. (2-soccer 2-football 1-basketball 1-hockey)
- Have bi-weekly training sessions of Brazilian Jiujitsu, boxing and muay thai
- Also have tried numerous things for the first time 😉

Fact is eRepublik has done a lot for me and has shaped me a lot into what I am today.
In all honesty though, I didn't write this article for the people to see. I simply wrote it for memory sake. As something for me to look back at and reminisce about. But if you do have any questions about anything feel free to ask. I've actually left out a lot, as there is so much more history..Also take a look at my wiki for some more.
