[MUFC] The retirement of a legend, the end of an era
Pfeiffer.
Sir Alex Ferguson became the Manager of Manchester United just over one year before I was born. His 26 years at the helm of the greatest football club in the history of the game will never be forgotten. His retirement at the end of this season will not just mark a change for United, but for the game at large.
Thanks for the memories, and all that silverware.
It's always going to be Fergie Time.

MUFC & SAF FOREVER o7
I have never understood a game where you run around for 90 minutes and the game ends in a 0-0 tie? Leave it to the Redcoats to play a game, which has rioting 'hooligans' that beat on each other over a game with no winner....
It's the most popular sport in the world, and even here in the US, the MLS has more people attending games than the NHL and the NBA. That's physical people in the stands, not TV numbers, obviously...but those are climbing by leaps and bounds.
I agree from Canada, hockey, football, baseball..... last on the list soccer. I rather watch golf. "Some of our guys wear redcoats, 200 years ago we stopped the USA"
Two hundred years ago Canada did indeed stop very small, unsupported invasion attempts with poor supply lines and little planning behind them. While the USA went on to defeat the largest empire and chief navel power in the world at the time with little more than American farmers using their hunting weapons and a few small ships. Canada for it's part pretty much never managed to gain it's independence seeing as it's still a member of the new incarnation of the old British Empire called the Commonwealth.
I was very surprised to see that MLS out drew the NBA, even more surprised to see that the NHL outdraws the NBA...! Personally I would rather watch bowling than soccer...but I mostly watch Motorsports...especially road racing....
