[Moo] Plan for How to dramatically change our country.

This is the 5th time I have run for President during the almost 4 years I have been playing this game, and have to say this is one of the best elections I have been a part of for three reasons. For the most part it has been a clean contest, name calling and mudslinging hurts the whole country. Second there are a lot of good canadites running, I think all four of us could do the job good. The biggest reason this is a great campaign is the voters have a choice, not based on popularity or social circles, but based on deliverables. MUFC will work to get us in an alliance and training wars, Conway will create wealth for the country and share it, BB will bring unity, and I will focus on a Baby boom. It will be interesting to see what the voters think is this country’s biggest issue. One thing I would ask is do not let someone who calls themselves a “leader” decides for you, vote who you think has the best plan and can deliver on it.

Most of the time ePoliticians are vague on how they plan to achieve their goals. If they throw out the details, others can poke holes in them. It is much easier to say things like “it is in national security to not give details” or” I will let the people decide”. I am not going to do that, I going to state the 7 steps I plan to take to get a baby boom.


Why do we need a baby boom? More players’ means:
1. More influence in the world
2. High-energy enthusiastic positive people playing
3. A better eIrish Economy
4. More War
5. A better game to play


To put a baby boom in scale, we have 200 active citizens. Columbia was bringing in 2,000+ new citizens a day when they implemented a similar plan as below. They are now the number one country in the world. We enact this and Ireland will be one of the largest countries in the game in a month. Think about that for a second.

THE PLAN


STEP 1. Form a committee- I am laying out a plan but cannot do all the work and know that others ideas would greatly improve the plan. I have asked Noggin and Yddub to help on the committee, two people that I trust for advice (even if one of them yells at you a bit). I have not asked Seanad, Irisian, Snake, CT, and Ian Coleman yet but am sure they and others would help for the good of the country. We would only spend 3 or 4 days refining the plan, then divide up the work and make it happen. I will also ask other countries who have done this, if some of their representatives can advisor us.

Step 2. Raise 1,000 Euros of real life money. Yes I have not gone mad and said 1,000 euros. I do believe we have enough people that have the means to get to this target. The fund raising will last 2 weeks. Money will be donated into a pay pall account administered by someone trust worthy, other than me. All books will be open and transparent. I will not have access to funds. We will funnel friend requests and use incentives from the national treasury to help raise the money needed. I will personally pledge the first 100 euros.

Step 3 Design Banners We have to design a banner to attack the most people. We could use a standard game one or design our own. We need a strap phrase around it like “Be Tashocih for a month”. I do not poses any artistic or creative abilities so will be realigning on others for this. Which size banner will also have to be determined by the committee?

Step 4. Get best prices we can on advertising on top Irish web sites with the correct democratic. The listed price to advertise on the internet is about 10 to 5cpm. Our goals will be to get more than 250,000 page views of our banner for our 1,000 euros. If we estimate a 0.75% join rate that puts us at 2,000 new citizens, or 3X our current size. A better understanding of these rates will come from working with countries that have done this. We will target web sites like poltics.ie and RTE.ie that have demographics that match the player profile of this game. Because the overall market in Ireland is limited we might target Irish ex pats sites too. We might have to run some smaller scale tests to prove the system.

Step 5. Funnel new players through the right path for the first 24 hours. Does the banner take them to a web site first or right into the game? What should the new player message say? Do we funnel them in as friends of the donors? How do we get them to join boot camp right away? We would have to map out this process in a way that gets us the most citizens joining at the right place. Boot camp was set up to see if we could retain new players, we need apply the lessons we have learned to date on a large scale.

Step 6. Support them first month. Three things are needed here. Information through articles. Our top articles have to be guides for the new players. Second, people stick around for the community they meet. We would have to assign people to different regiments of boot camp to act as mentors, we would need lots of them. Third is challenges. We would have to make regular challenges like “move to Japan and receive 5 Q7 weapons” or “comment on a newspaper article and receive 50CC”. These types of things give new players things to do and teach them about game mechanisms. Jobs will have to be created in the Irish Market to support the players. We will also need to raise or conserve funds for this. Countries in the past have gone bankrupt supporting a baby boom.

Step 7. Give them a reason to want to come back. A lot of baby booms have been built around Real World conflicts spilling into this game. Poland did it when they said the Germans were invading them. Argentina and Chile both created one when they were at war with each other in game. We need to create our own story line or crisis, to keep people thinking that logging in to this game matters. We need entertainment for the new players.

This would be the biggest undertaking this eCountry has ever attempted and will not be easy. The whole country would have to work to this goal. If it is successful it will change our eCountry dramatically. I have been asked to help other canadits running for CP in the area of baby boom if I do not get elected. I have said no because I think to pull this off the whole country needs to be focused on this and no other priorities. If I do not get elected, I will fully support whoever gets elected in their goals. If I get elected, I promise you I will work my butt off to make the above plan happen.
