Congress, this is where legislation is enacted.
There is a demographic that run for congress to get the gold and get a seat at the table so that they can beat their chest and say that they have a seat at the table.
There is also a demographic that run for congress to bring about change, to pass legislation, and to argue issues with the intent to ADVANCE THE DEBATE, not to stall progress simply in the name of partisanship. This is the demographic that MOO is in.
Some people may be surprised to know this but MOO has yet to run a candidate for congress under it’s own banner. Despite this, five sitting congressmen are members of the herd AND legislation is getting passed that is completely aligned with the Eight Opportunities of MOO. This is a testament as to how MOO “finds a way” to achieve its mandate.
On February 25th, MOO will be running its own candidates for the first time. MOO is also going to be sponsoring candidates from TFD, formerly known as the CPF. Candidates running under the MOO banner must swear the Ministry of Opportunity Congressional Order Objective or "MOO COO"
The MOO COO
1. All of MOO’s proposed candidates for Parliament, once formally selected, shall adopt a common platform of action for the next session of Parliament.
2. The Party President shall approve this common platform and then publish it in the official party newspaper. The party membership is to be consulted in the determination of the platform.
3. Once adopted, all MOO candidates that are elected are obliged to support the policies and proposals that are listed in the platform when they appear before Parliament.
4. Failure to support the common platform of action shall result in being barred from re-election with MOO.
For the February 25 session of parliament, the top priority of MOO congressmen will be the implementation of the mortgage/annuity/bond program in an effort to strengthen the CAD. Up to two more priorities will be added prior to the 25th, they will be completely aligned with the Eight Opportunities of MOO. There is a forum poll to determine the top two or three issues, the poll closes on the 23rd.

When I started this party, income tax was 15% and VAT was 1% and there was no worker-manager and there was no purchase bots and the CAD was trading at 0.025, things are much different now.
At present, income tax is 1% which achieves on of MOO's objectives. Taxation has shifted toward VAT, which achieves another objective, the downside is that VAT is 20% which brings total taxation up to 21%.
The plus side of the high VAT is that it is skimming purchase bots, admin is now paying a good chunk of tax. So is the eCan consumer but they are paying no income tax now.
The extra tax helps to tax CAD off the market which stabilizes the CAD. MPP's are very expensive in terms of CAD right now ($100 per gold x 200 g = $20,000 CAD) so the government needs help. Once the CAD rebounds, MOO will put pressure on government to reduce the rate of VAT.
So far, the government is being reasonable with the taxes collected.
Bring in the votes MOO team! Get our calves in Congress! MOO!

Enforced party platforms stall progress in the name of partisanship. Just saying.
Without partisanship, congress is an oldfag club. To have partisanship, you need to stand for something.
MOO stands for something.
MDP stands for something.
EPIC is democratic about choosing something.
DAL is the old school, oldfag oligarchy.
CPP is sexy on the surface, but what does it stand for.
CLP and TFD are emerging parties with a platform. To right the political ship in eCanada, we need parties with character that stand for something and offer a legitimate choice. MOO isn't for everyone, neither is MDP, there are plenty of voids in this political spectrum for the politically ambitious to pursue and STAND FOR!!!
So basically, in the article you talked about how partisanship is crappy, and then you say "we ENFORCE the partisanship we said is crappy"

Alastar took the CEP, which was floundering miserably at the time, and revived it into a vibrant party. Along the way, he build a relationship with Rolo, who did a lot of work to build CEP.
Rolo did what he did. By association, Alastar took a lot of heat.
Alastar has ties to Rolo but Alastar is not Rolo. At the risk of tarnishing myself and MOO, I would rather involve a party builder like Alastar in MOO than to exclude him out of spite or to poach 10 low level members from another party OR to add 10 multis to MOO.
