[MoHA] What Can You Do?

Day 852, 14:43 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by eUK Home Office

Hello there!

Now, I’m sure you’re aware of the changes which will be taking place regarding V2 coming out. The war module will be changed completely, the economics module will be changed majorly, and many resources will be swapped around. However, no matter what V2 brings, one resource will always remain at the forefront of eRepublik. That resource is people.

In order for the eUK to take the initiative when V2 comes out, it will need more people than it does now, especially after the recent invasion by EDEN forces. Because no matter how clever our economists are, how well organised our military is or how efficient our Congress is, without citizens to fight, work and train for the eUK, the eUK will be a weak nation.

The good news is that there’s something for everyone to do! In this article, I’ll be outlining the various ways in which you can get involved with increasing our population – there really is something for everyone!

1. Firstly, the most tried and tested way of increasing our population is by getting ordinary citizens to speak to people they know in real life and introduce them to the game. If you do this using your referral link, you will also receive 5 gold when your friend reaches level 6, and your friend will be much more likely to stay in the game if you act as their tutor and introduce them to the forums and IRC. Just think – if everybody who reads this newspaper introduced just one friend, the eUK would expand by over 1000 active citizens overnight, and an extra 6000 gold would be generated!

2. The eUK has its very Facebook page, located here. We need as many people as possible to become fans of this page, and what would be absolutely fantastic is if you could then suggest it to your friends. We really believe that we can access British-only communities via facebook, attracting groups of people all in one go.

3. Are you a member of any forums or message boards that have a primarily British user-base? If you are, please include either a link to your referral link or to www.eRepublik.co.uk, with some kind of text specifying that people should join up in London, eUnited Kingdom – make sure you discourage any Americans from joining!

4. Finally, if you have any experience writing journalism, or are particularly gifted in that area, why not volunteer your skills and write a review of eRepublik, specifically of the eUK? There are numerous magazines which feature weekly or monthly reviews of innovative games or online communities which are specific to the UK – getting a review of eRepublik in just one would get us thousands of new members overnight.

So, I’m sure you’ll agree that no matter where you come from or what you do, there’s something for everyone to get stuck into when it comes to recruiting new members!

If you have any questions about this article, any suggestions or anything you feel you could offer us, do not hesitate to send a message here or to my personal account here.

In conclusion, if we really want to become a great country we will need to put aside our differences and work together as one. So let’s come together and make some babies!
