[MoHA] Report, Day 1530

Day 1,530, 03:20 Published in Belgium Belgium by eBelgian Presidency

Hello eBelgians!

It has been a busy time in MoHA. Our first order of business has been to redecorate the ministry offices. This has proven more difficult than anticipated, as our tyrannical CP vetoed our choice of pink wallpaper with purple flowers. In lieu of this, I have decided upon a theme of rainbows and unicorns, and I am sorry, but I will not be moved by the complaint that NLSP’s invisible pink unicorn will be offended by this, as NLSP is on Supreme Court and not allowed in government. This is also why we feel safe in populating the offices with innocent kittens, after installing HEPA filters in MoFUN for Cooke4444’s allergies. Just to be extra safe, the unicorns will act as body guards for the kittens.

I have also agreed with Procuste that the corridors will no longer be lined with the musty old portraits of former ministers. Instead, they will be replaced with pictures of our favorite hunks, just in time for the new Hot Food program which will be described in more detailed below.

Here’s what’s happening in various areas of MoHA.

MoFUN
A lottery has been started on the forum, where you'll be able to win 7500 BEF. All you'll have to do for this is to sign in on the topic made for the lottery. The winners will be announced on the 30th. New faces on the forum are always welcome.

On the 20th, "le tour de France" ended. To check the winners, go to the 'forum games' side of the ministry. Also on the forum games: "tasks 4 gold" has come to an end. The Eurovision contest is still running. A great initiative there, and to stimulate everyone to create other games, another competition has been made, where creators of new games had the opportunity to win 1000 BEF! The games created are already running. Come to the forum and see!

The "last post wins"-competition still doesn't have a winner, and it doesn't seem that will change in the near future." There are also hints of other new games in the future.

But now for the information about Hot Food.
We all like a little eye candy now and then, and this program offers food for both the eye and the stomach. Here is how it works:
Everyone may post ONE picture per day in the topic on the forum. The people who post get 5 Q5 food. Winner of "pic of the day" gets 10 Q5. Players under level 20 will get, instead of 5, 7 Q5 food.
MoFUN decides winner. No "full frontal nudity" will be allowed. Other than that, this is equal opportunity. You decide what is “hot”.

Education
In addition to continuing their work with greeting newborns in eBelgium and helping them to get started, our education team has been examining tutorials used by other eCountries and are working on translating some of them with the aim of having some that work for our young citizens without completely reinventing what others are already doing and doing well.

Immigration
This team is also doing well. They have been particularly busy with screening requests from citizens of other eCountries who want to come here to spend money on land and buildings before returning to their homes. There is a proposal being debated in Congress which could help stimulate more of this kind of eTourism.

Legislation
After time spent in research on programs in other eCountries and discussion about which would work best in eBelgium, several social programs have been chosen to propose to Congress. One of those chosen, private loans to citizens, was already being discussed and has been voted. You can find the details here. Others to be presented to Congress shortly are a Town Hall program and a Land Subsidy program, both of which will put your tax money to work in helping you to grow stronger. You are welcome to come join in the debates here.

One other program that falls under this department, although it is presently privately sponsored, is the MaryamQ Press Awards. Everyone is encouraged to participate, both by voting for the best overall article from the last round and by competing in the next round. Let’s keep our media active! You can find out all you need to know here.

Most of all, remember you are here to have fun!
