Erepublik may seem like a boring game where all you do is work, train, study, entertain and on the odd occasion go on the battlefield to teach a few enemies a lesson. Erepublik is so much than this though, with a eUK Forum and an IRC Channel, there’s always plenty of things to do and talk about. In the rest of the article we’ll be showing you reasons as to why joining the forum and IRC is a great way to get more involved in the game.

Forum

The eUK Forum is a very important part of the eUnited Kingdom for many reasons. Some of these reasons are that the Minstries, House of Commons (Congress), the Military (Mostly IRC, but still parts on the forum), Political Party forums all work here and of course it’s a good place to have fun. Joining the forum will open up many new doors for you, as this is where you can join a Ministry to help out as an Apprentice, work your way up to an Under-Minister after two-three months perhaps and after that you may very well become a Minister, one of the highest positions in the country. The forum will also allow you access to some important updates about how the country is doing and what is being done about it.

So far we’ve told you about how you can join Ministries and work your way up the ladder to top jobs, however the forum isn’t all about working, you may just want to sit back and relax in the off topic sections. The off topic area has a wide variety of things you can talk about with Films, Music, Books and Sport to name just a few. General talk about Erepublik is the main reason for the forum but it’s also a great place to meet people that will help you learn about the game if you’re confused or new and are still learning the features or that are just fun to be around. When you register be sure to use your Erepublik username.

IRC

The IRC (Internet Relay Chat) is a form of real time internet chat. It’s a very popular thing among the countries of Erepublik but we’ll be talking about the eUK Chat and other ones that we’d recommend you visit. Clicking the link we’ve provided will take you to a part of the forum with a screen that has some random letters in a box with the word connect below it. Get rid of all the random text and put your Erepublik username in there and connect. Connecting to this chat room will take you to a chat room which usually always has around 60+ people in it.

The Ministry of Home Affairs would recommend you make an account on something called Mibbit (There are other versions like mIRC). Why do we recommend you create an account? Well some channels only allow access if you have a registered account, if you don’t have one you wont be able to go onto that channel causing all sorts of problems. So you now have an account, click on the ‘channels’ button near the top right corner and add irc.rizon.net (No need to click link in the server box, for channels add in #euk (Remember to Save and Close). To join a channel type /join #example this will take you to that channel, make sure though that you’ve spelt the channel name correctly. Since we’re talking about IRC and the majority of the work is done on there for the military, we need you to join up to strengthen the eUK. Type /join #army.training into one of the text areas on a chat and it will take you to this room. Any questions about the British Army can be answered here and from there you can join the army itself, again opening up many new doors.

We hope you’ve found this article helpful and look forward to seeing you join the forum and IRC soon. If you’re confused about anything in this article, just send the eUK Home Office a message and we’ll help sort it out.

If you’re struggling to keep your happiness or wellness at a reasonable level, be sure to check out this article from the Department of Education.
