[MoFA] Upcoming Tournament

Hello citizens and allies of Ireland. Our nation will be hosting a European Tournament involving all nations of 400 official population or less. 12 nations have been invited to participate in the tournament. Perhaps if this project is successful and fun enough, we can expand the tournament next time.

THE TOURNAMENT

Starting on day 2247, the weekly challenge board will be used to allow us to compete as Nations, MUs, and Individuals in a friendly tournament.


Nations who have accepted the invitation so far:

*Ireland
*Belgium
*Switzerland
*Republic of Moldova
*Czech Republic


The divisions and the positions that will recieve prizes are as follows:

Top International Damage
Nations with most damage done in 7 days
Prizes: 1st,2nd,3rd
Top International Kill count
Nations with highest kill count in 7 days
Prizes: 1st,2nd,3rd
Top MU Damage
MUs with most damage done in 7 days
Prizes: Top 10,1st,2nd,3rd
Top MU kill count
MUs with highest kill count in 7 days
Prizes: 1st,2nd,3rd
Top Individual Damage
Citizens with most damage done in 7days
Prizes: Top 10,1st,2nd,3rd
Top Individual Kill count
Citizens with highest kill count in 7days
Prizes 1st,2nd,3rd

-Prizes will be determined by donations. Ideally, each participating nation will put out an article about the tournament and accept donations as well.

-We have had a handful accepted invitations already, and some are discussing it with their congress, but have replied optimistically so far.

-One week before the tournament a thread will be created with representatives from each nation attending. Here we'll discuss everything from the name of the Tournament to what the prizes will be. We'll also be discussing donations, which I Will bring up soon.

-The object of the tournament is more for fun and bragging rights than anything else, so don't be discouraged if the prizes are not spectacular. It is a great chance to fight for your nation's pride, even if they aren't currently at war. And who says we have to wait on admins for the next tournament?

-We have many tanks here in Ireland. I've personally seen some incredible stats put up by Rikian, IBB, Bhane, Sweet, and others. I've seen our best MUs impress even large nations. How well do you think they will place against a handful of other nations? We'll find out soon!

Please specify if you'd like the money to go towards the National prizes, the MU prizes or the Individual prizes. If not specified, I will place the money where needed or divide it up evenly.
