[MoFA] UK and its allies - Part 1

Day 1,802, 13:00 Published in United Kingdom Greece by Kravenn

Well, Not really a “traditionnal” MoFA news but more an article to inform our population about our current allies.

As you know : in Erepublik, it is quite important to have good allies if you want to keep some importance on the e-world.
You can’t think to conquer for a long time a country (or some regions) if you are totally alone.
By example : If you country A has around 15.000 citizens but no allies and if this country wants to conquer another one ( country B ) who has a population of 1000 and a lot of strong allies. It will not be so easy for country A to wipe country B if all B allies decide on the same to fight against A

Like in the real world : you need to have friends to coordinate common forces against opponents.

So, in this article, I will talk a bit about the relations that UK has with several of our allies

Poland

Probably one of the biggest countries on the e-world and probably almost the strongest one.
We have links with Poland since the end of 2010. Since that moment : they always show us that they are to help us when we need help. Their army and military units are known for their strength and their great coordination.
Without any risk : I can say that Poland is on our TOP 3 of best allies

Serbia

We are allied with Serbia since 2009. Relations between our countries are excellent. They know that we are not the strongest country in the e-world but we are always there to help them.
Their oldest players know that the help that we apported in V1, especially when Serbian enemies made everything that they could to make them lost their colonies. They saw that we were unable to make the biggest amount of damages but we arrived 2nd on the ratio “damage per soldier” just behind … Serbia

Spain

We began friends with them around on the same time than Poland. Till the end of 2010 : we were on opposed but there weren’t a lot of hostilities between our countries.
When Eden and Terra forces (2 alliances composed by UK enemies) invaded us : they were there and their strongest players hit a lot of defend our regions.
That’s why we help them when they need help … like now against Colombia

Republic of Macedonia

Before talking about them, I suggest you to call their country with the following names : Republic of Macedonia (I admit : it is a bit long), Macedonia or MKD but never call them “f*rom (which is an insult for them).
Before admin added their country, Macedonians were a strong community and even without their country added to their game, they played together in several countries like south Korea, …
That wasn’t a reason to ignore them and we always had good relations with their community.
When Admin added them : we were one of the first country who recognised them under their real name.
Macedonian community is a very strong one, very motivated and ready to help their allies.
We can say to Macedonia : eUK loves you

Hungary

The catalyst for the UK joining PEACE was letting Hungary rent regions in Scotland that they used to invade the USA. Many old players in the UK still remember these times as the most fun in all the years they have played the game. The UK and Hungary have remained firm allies ever since. This was a pivotal moment for the UK, coming not long after the breakup of the ATLANTIS super alliance, and paving the way for the UK to make some lasting friendships with countries it had previously been opposed to. At the time there had been a lot of friction with the UK and the USA, Spain and others that were trying to make an alliance called Fortis, so Hungary’s proposal came at a great time. Hungary has been a staunch ally ever since, and it’s a privilege to fight for them on the battlefield.

Indonesia

Indonesia were one of the powerhouses of PEACE GC when the United Kingdom joined in 2009 and we have remained good friends ever since. Indonesia have often helped the UK against our common enemies the USA and Canada and can always be relied on to do important damage for the UK outside of our primetime, which has brought our countries closer. On a personal level, citizens of the UK have always got on very well with their Indonesian counterparts and we know we can count on each other as reliable allies.

It is the end of part 1, I’m preparing a part 2 with countries like Bulgaria, Chile, Lithuania, Slovenia, Estonia, Mexico, …
My apologies if I haven’t mentioned your country on part 1, Unable to mention all of our friends on an article without write a wall of text
