[MoFA] The Battle of Bristol

Day 3,176, 22:19 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by AMD.

First of all, apologies for this not being in the MoFA newspaper, I cannot for the life of me remember the details, and I have been awake for a long time now.

Now, we are brought up in the UK learning of the exploits of the Brylcreem Boys (RAF) saving our bacon in the Battle of Britain in June 1941.

Addaway on a good day

And scenes such as this are shown before us:

A marvellous feat of the UK defending their shores from foreign invaders, with allied air force help.

Well ladies and gentlemen, something interesting happened today, and something very similar.

May I present, the BATTLE OF BRISTOL

Around 10pm Sunday Evening Aaron Mark Daniels and Sir Jimmy Savile set upon a remarkable challenge, saving our shores from the eUSA invasion. Unlike the Battle of Britain we could not prevent the the invaders coming to our shores. However, they did not and shall not ever capture Bristol!

8 hours, 8 rounds and significant COs later, the eUK have won the battle against foreign invasion and can begin the fight back.

Thank you to everyone who fought for us, Rohirrin and MCKitKat for supporting me through my steady decent into madness, Gnilraps for putting up a bloody good fight in the first air battle, and the eIndonesians, who after just showing up and helping push the final battle can now enjoy their day whilst I, sat here at 6:19am on Monday morning can go to bed, claiming a victory for the eUK.
