BRASIL E ROMÊNIA - UM RECOMEÇO




A Dinâmica das relações diplomáticas no eRepublik tornam cíclicas as Alianças e, como consequência, quem é aliado ou adversário.

É importante lembrar que não estamos apenas participando de um jogo. Estamos participando de uma verdadeira rede social, onde encontramos pessoas de todo o mundo, e os jogadores trazem consigo um pouco da sua vida real para o jogo, coisas boas e coisas ruins.

Ao longo da história do nosso e-país já tivemos muitos aliados que passaram a ser adversários e adversários que passaram a ser aliados, e, via de regra, tentamos lidar com esse processo natural do jogo de modo a não causar reais feridas, a evitar um real ódio, e para isso contamos não só com a maturidade e bom senso dos jogadores para entender que tudo não passa de um jogo, mas também porque o brasileiro não possui desavenças profundas na vida real com outras nações.

Somos, em suma, e ao menos a partir do século XX e sem esquecer os problemas sociais pelos quais passamos, o que não vem ao caso, uma nação cordial, de bem com o mundo.

Contudo, vez por outra, o fato de estarmos em lados opostos no jogo acirra os ânimos, e o que era apenas uma simples diferença de posições, no máximo uma rivalidade, pode se transformar numa inimizade profunda que pode descambar para hostilidade mais séria.

E, infelizmente, não são poucos os casos onde isto ocorreu.

Parte significativa da comunidade do Brasil, acerca de 2 anos, contribuiu para que uma desavença com uma unidade militar que tentava mês a mês aplicar um Take Over em um dos nossos partidos políticos se transformasse em uma inimizade de proporções maiores com toda a comunidade da Romênia.

Como resultado disso tivemos guerra, tivemos embargos comerciais e tivemos a xenofobia praticada por cidadãos insatisfeitos, e vemos sombras disso até os dias de hoje.

Olhando para trás, podemos dizer que valeu a pena criar todo esse problema por causa de 60 cidadãos de uma MU então hostil? Não, não podemos.

Efetivamente temos como voltar atrás e corrigir os erros praticados por organizações ou cidadãos? Não brasileiros, não temos.

Podemos esquecer tudo o que foi feito ou foi dito? Não brasileiros, não podemos.

Mas, face as mudanças geopolíticas atuais, podemos recomeçar nossas relações!

Sim! Recomeçar, sem esquecer o que passou, pois ninguém sofre de amnésia, mas fazendo uso dessa lembrança para nos guiar e evitar que pratiquemos os mesmos erros do passado.

Podemos, também, como governo e como comunidade, repudiar a xenofobia e as palavras racistas então utilizadas por uma pequena parcela da nossa própria comunidade!

Em absoluto, nunca há uma boa justificativa para a prática de atos deste tipo, seja porque a nossa casa é de vidro, seja porque tais atos são moralmente deploráveis.

Tanto brasileiros como romenos têm uma bela história. Se temos Caxias, o pacificador, os romenos tem Estevão o grande. Se temos o vigor da juventude, os romenos tem a sabedoria da longa história. A língua que falamos tem as mesmas raízes. O mesmo pode ser dito, ao menos em parte, das nossas raízes culturais e históricas.

Então, por que não unir o que temos de melhor? Não amanhã, mas agora mesmo, começando a construir um novo futuro, numa relação franca e honesta, onde as relações entre os países deverão se dar somente entre os governos e jamais com instituições não governamentais, numa relação que deverá primar pelo respeito e pela honra.

Nós do governo do Brasil sabemos que alguns torcerão o nariz, que outros escarnecerão e que outros tantos zombarão dessa nova aproximação, por vezes numa tentativa de virar brasileiro contra brasileiro (muita atenção à nacionalidade dos críticos!), mas, de igual modo, temos certeza que existirão aqueles que acreditarão e apostarão nessa nova relação.

E é por estes que os governos de ambos os países devem cerrar fileiras, juntos, e fazer tudo ao alcance para, de coração aberto e sem rancor, nos reaproximarmos e celebrarmos uma aliança verdadeira.

BRAZIL AND ROMANIA - A NEW BEGINNING



The dynamics of diplomatic relations in eRepublik make the aliances cyclical. and consequently who is friend or foe.

It is important to remember that we are not just playing a game. We are participating in a true social network, where we find people from all over the world, and the players bring with themselves a little bit of their real life to the game, both good things and bad things.

Throughout history our eCountry had many allied nations that at a later moment became an opponent, and opponents that turned into allies, and so forth. As a rule, we've tried to deal with this natural process of the game in order to avoid creating real injuries and real hate, and for that we rely not only on the maturity and good sense of the players to understand that it is just a game, but also on the fact that we brazilians do not have any deep disagreements with other nations in real life.


We are, at least after the end of the 19th Century, and despite all our social and economical issues, a very friendly nation, with good relations with everybody in the real world.

However, once in a while, the fact that we are in opposite sides over something in the game ends up exacerbating tempers, and what was a mere difference of opinions or positions, at most a rivalry, turns into a deep hostility that, in turn, may become something even more serious.

And, unfortunately, there are a few instances where this occurred.

A significant portion of the brazilian comunity, about 2 years ago, contributed to transform a conflict with a private Military Unit that was trying to, month after month, take over one of our Political parties, into a hostility of major proportions with Romania's comunity and government.

As a result we had war, we had trade embargos and we had a few unhappy citizens becoming xenophobic in their deals with foreign citizens, and we see the shadows of these acts echoing nowadays.

Looking backwards, can we say that it was worth creating this mess because of 60 citizens from a hostile private MU? No, we can't!

Effectively, could we go back and correct the mistakes made by organizations or citizens? No brazilians, we can't!

Can we forget all that was done or was said? No brazilians, we can't!

But, in the face of actual geopolitical changes, we can start over again our relationship!

Yes! Restart, without forgetting what happened, because no one suffers from amnesia, but using this memory to guide us and avoid that we repeat the same mistakes we made in the past.

Also, we can, the government and the comunity, disavow the xenophobic acts and the racist words used in the past by a small portion of our own comunity!

Absolutely, there is no justification for the practice of acts of this type, either because we have a similar problem or simple because these acts are morally deplorable.

Both brazilian and romanians have a beautiful history. If we have Caxias, the pacifyer, the romanians have Stephen, the Great. If we have the vigor of youth , the romanians have wisdow that comes from a long history. The languages we speak have the same latin root. The same can be said, al least in part, of our cultural and historycal roots.

So, why not join the best we have? Not tomorrow, but right now, starting a new future, in a frank and honest relationship, where the relations among our countries should be directed only by each ones own government, and never by non-governmental institutions, in a relationship that must excel by respect and honor.

We from the Brazilian Government know that a few citizen will not be fully happy, that others will mock and that some will scoff at this new approach, in an attempt to turn brazilian against brazilian (pay very attention to the critics’ citizenship!), but, in the same way, we are sure that will exist those who will believe and will bet in this new relationship.

And it is for these believers that the governments of both countries must rally together and do everything in their power to, with an open heart and without rancor, reconciliate our nations and celebrate a true partnership.
