[MoFA] Progress Report

Hello eIndia.

Yes, Alector as MoFA, again. xD

I had originally planned to continue my comfy retirement, but through a twist of fate Goutham has appointed me MoFA of eIndia for the remainder of the term. ~~Oh noes…~~

This is just a brief update of what the government has done so far this term.

Improving relations
eIndia’s foreign affairs situation is not in a good state atm – we are wiped and we have very few friends. Other countries don’t have much of an opinion of us. That is why the government is pushing forward a drive to start re/building relationships – essentially, to rebuild our foreign policy.

One particular example is ePoland, who have been receptive to our initial diplomatic overtures so far. Another is eIran, which will be covered in more detail now. 😛

Helping eIran in their wars
eIran is currently at war with eTurkey – due to our burgeoning relationship, the eIndian government felt obliged to provide support in the form of soldiers and repetitive shouts during the recent battle for Southwestern Iran. The eIranians were very grateful:

Ambassadors
If we are to have any hope of establishing good diplomatic links with other countries, we need good ambassadors. We already have some, but we need more! I care not if you’re old or new, if you’re interested, sign up here! Being an competent ambassador will get you noticed, make you plenty of friends from abroad, and can be a rung on the ladder to higher government service! I started out as an ambassador, and it benefitted me hugely. Any applications would be greatly appreciated.

The eAsian Song Festival
eIndia has applied its own song on the first ever eAsian Song Festival – our application is Maa Tujhe Salaam, by A.R. Rahman. For more info about the song, read this fine article by our CP.
