Caros ePortugueses e ePortuguesas, amigos e aliados,

Queria agradecer pela confiança que nos foi depositada.

Estamos convencidos que será um mês trabalhoso e que irá necessitar de uma grande dedicação por parte da equipa governativa, e em particular a do MoFA, especialmente depois de tudo o que aconteceu nas passadas semanas.

Tal como conhecido, Portugal esteve debaixo de uma ditadura a qual decidiu por iniciativa própria entrar na aliança Orion sem dar cavaco a ninguém, apoiando-se num referendo feito há 2 meses atrás e não dando qualquer justificação à população. Esta entrada está ainda a ser analisada por parte do governo e do Congresso.

O MoFA irá fazer todos os possíveis para informar convenientemente os cidadãos, e estará em contacto permanente com o Congresso e com os nossos aliados.

Quero também agradecer a todos os aliados que se disponibilizaram para ajudar na restauração da democracia em Portugal.



Os objectivos deste mandato são:

> Avaliação da entrada na Orion;

> Manutenção das boas relações com os países Aliados;

> Assinatura de MPP’s que consideremos úteis para o país: Argentina, Colômbia, Sérvia, Roménia, Brasil, Eslovénia, Canadá, França, Perú, Irão e Suécia. Possibilidade de assinatura de MPP com Uruguai, Grécia e EUA;

> Tentaremos também reactivar o programa de embaixadas com os mesmos objectivos que foram alcançados no mês de Março;

Dear citizens, friends and allies,

First of all I would like to thank the confidence placed in us.

We are aware that it will be a hard working month that will require a special dedication from the government team and the MoFA team in particular, specially after all that happened over the past weeks.
As known, Portugal was under a dictatorship that decided by their own initiative to sign the membership on the alliance Orion without taking any support from the Portuguese community, just backing up their decision on a referendum made two months ago. This membership is under evaluation from government and Congress.

The cabinet will do all that is possible to inform conveniently the citizens, and will be in permanent contact with the Congress and with our allies.

I wish also to thank all the allies who offered to help us on the restoration of the democracy in Portugal.



The objectives of this term are:

> Evaluation of the membership in Orion;

> Up keeping of the relationships with our allies;

> The signing of MPP’s that we consider useful for our country: Argentina, Colombia, Serbia, Romania, Brazil, Slovenia, Canada, France, Peru, Iran and Sweden. Possibility of signing MPP with Uruguay, Greece and USA;

> We will try to reactivate the Embassies program with the same objectives that were previously achieved.
