Ayo 😁

You're still an idiot Oinyo, but I don't QUITE despise you 😛

Anyway, the wheels haven't fallen apart.

Luckily, I have come to save the day.

First off, here is the cabinet list, my friends 🙂

CP: Oinyo
VPs: Foxfire and Gh0st3rr
MoFA: moi~~
Mo😨 Punisher 1389
dMo😨 Mizu64
MoE: crisfire
Others: Lord Beorn

Now you know who to blame when the country goes up in flames 🙂

Not me of, course. I'm the only sane one th- *media censored*

Anyway, I'm pleasantly surprised. I've had bigger idgits lead the country (hey Derphoof, here's your shoutout), and at the very least, they're active. Are they smart? You can decide when they make decisions. But hey, at least they're trying. *gold star*

Alright, time to make some updates.

First, thankfully, Oinyo hasn't quickly pulled a 180 and left the nation in ruin. Frankly, coming into this term, I was worried that he'd be a fool, blinded by his own despising of Asgard and ruining all that we had worked on for many months. But no, calm down. The light at the end of the tunnel may not be a train after all.

Asgard prides itself on being independent and fighting the good fight no matter what the odds are against it. And I, along with many fellow Canadians, love the alliance for it. That's why I'm happy that Oinyo isn't simply leaving the alliance without any discussion. He recently set up a poll to gauge the current sentiment, which you can vote on here. I voted Asgard myself, but go ahead, state your opinion. 🙂

Second, crisfire has begun leading a babyboom project. Due to natural attrition (translation: eRep kinda sucks), recent emigration to USA for the ATO, and disgruntlement over eCan's wipe, the nation has slowly been shrinking in population. In order to battle this, our beloved Crimson has been working tirelessly on plans to expand the population, and give us that extra boost in the good fight, and more importantly to keep the players. Oh crisfire, you bastard, you better not mess this up 😛

Next, news on Asgard as a whole. I love them. Most of you do too. But it's a bit small, is it not? I was worried that Oinyo would simply jump ship and switch to CoT, leaving everyone with a bad taste in their mouths. But actually, there's an alternative plan! If you haven't noticed, eCan has been receiving support from many CoT nations, from both usual suspect such as Russia and USA, as well as new faces, like the Macedonians. And it hasn't just been in our borders either. The Finns and Swedes have also seen an amount of support in their battles. However, wouldn't it be easier and more efficient to work together officially? That's why there are talks, led by our own Oinyo to integrate Asgard into CoT as some sort of a sub-alliance, where we can stay united with our brothers in Scandinavia while enjoying relations with CoT more closely. Think of it as the best of both worlds. Remain with Asgard and its wonderful unity, and also enjoying the damage boost. Asgard's higher-ups are open to the idea, and on paper, it seems like a wonderful idea. I love Sweden, Norway, and Finland, and any way we can get them more support, the better 🙂

And of course, that also helps us in any campaigns we have as well. Now, there are talks going on between eCan and eSpain, moderated by CoT nations, in hopes of releasing the Canadian nation. Of course, I'm a bit sketchy about this (not like we didn't try this for the last few months), but hey, if we can make Spain bow its head in shame and walk away peacefully, it seems nice. And if not, you can sure as hell prepare for...more destructive means 🙂

Hey Mary-chan, the Pincer is well-received.

Too lazy to read the article? Here's a summary. Go do the plebiscite on eCanada's future alliances, wish crisfire the best in his babyboom efforts, give feedback on the merger idea, prepare for war if talks go south, and, of course, have a nice day 🙂

Until next time, take care!

By the way, my newspaper viewers. I'm on school break now, so what would you think if I put the weekly articles aside to give you daily articles? 🙂
