This is the fourth edition of the MoFA project "Get to know your eWorld"

For this edition we interviewed Ethel Rosenberg, longtime MoFa for eIreland, a key country in the EDEN brotherhood. A very interesting person to learn more about:



Who are you in Real Life?
In RL, I live in the USA, Michigan to be exact. My name is Kat and I am 51 years old, yes – you read that right!

How did you discovere eRepublik and what was your first impression?
I discovered eRepublik when my friend, CFovetS, sent me an invite to play. Every day for a month, he would call me and say, “Did you work today? Did you fight today?” LOL! After thirty days it became a habit and here I am some 471 days later, almost to level 34, still enjoying the camaraderie of this game.

What's your favorite module and why?
The thing I like most about this game is the ability to talk to people from all over the world. I only know this module; however, the Admins keep things interesting with their random and crazy changes.

What's your opinion about eGermans and eGermany?
I like eGermany, very much, they have some great players there, and IRL I am half-German. I would like to help repair the relations between eIreland and eGermany, and I hope to work with van Spijck to accomplish that this month.



You've had some big jobs ingame, what did you like most about them?
I have had some jobs in this game, I am not so sure about “big jobs” however, I love working in Foreign Affairs. I have served as an Ambassador and I have served as MoFA in two countries. I was fortunate to work with some great players as well. I also love being part of the ICA; it truly is a great family!

What's your opinion about TEDEN?
When I started out as MoFA in eCanada, I was fortunate to be in both TERRA and EDEN, it gave me an appreciation of why it is so important to work together. I think that perhaps those bonds are slipping a bit - growing pains perhaps. I hope to continue serving in EDEN for a long time to come, and I would like to work on strengthening the Brotherhood between EDEN nations and to strengthen the partnership with TERRA nations.





If you could change something in eRepublik what would you do?
I would like to see less pettiness between people, myself included. Do not take things so seriously, this is a game, it should be fun.

Do have anything to add yourself?
In closing, I would like to thank van Spijck for asking me to participate in this. Van Spijck is a player for whom I have a great deal of admiration. I am glad to see him in so many places these days.
