Join the new world

Hi all, I’m Will Corbett and this is my first article as eUK MoFA Ambassador to eIreland. My role has been to work towards improving relations between the eUK and eIreland. I’ve been interviewing the eIrish CP, but first a bit of background information. (information taken from http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/The_Psych0)

The Psych0, formerly known as MUFC92, joined eRepublik on May 12, 2011 as an eCroatian and real life Croatian. On September 23, 2011 he became a citizen of Ireland. On October 19, 2011 he took over as commander of the Irish Army, where he would begin to shape and re-shape the national military into much of what it is today. He has also been highly involved in the Irish Citizen Army. The Irish Progressive Party, the predecessor to today's Saoirse, was also founded by The Psych0 and ascended to popularity much to his credit. During the year 2012, Saoirse was one of the most popular parties in eIreland. Psych0 has been the Minister of Defence during several terms, and was the Vice President of Thanatos the Magnificent's July 2012 government. In January of 2012, as MUFC92, and December 2012, he was the Country President of Ireland.

Now onto the interview. I want to say a massive thanks to The Psych0, as he was in fact exhausted and feeling quite ill at the time after having took an exam shortly before this interview, but still chose to participate in it. Anyway, here it is:

1. How did you get into eRepublik?
I saw some advertise on facebook, something about how serbia just attacked croatia etc. hehe they wanted to attract nationalists..

2. How did you get involved in the political module?
Hmm well that wasn't my aim at all to be honest. I just wanted to be a soldier, person who contribute to his country, I just guessed it's best way to do that through politics.

3. What are your views on eIreland-eUK relations?
I hope Ireland and UK will build great friendship based on mutual respect and trust. I know we're on the good way to achieve that 🙂

4. What was it that made you want to leave EDEN?
All those years I've been listening that we are brotherhood. And to be honest once we were brotherhood. And then they have let brotherhood disappear just by violating everything brotherhood should stand for. I won't go into details, that would probably take you 3 articles to gather.

5. Do you plan on joining another alliance such as TWO or remain neutral?
I was clear in my Presidential article that we will consider all our options, we're currently doing it. We won't rush in any alliance, but we'll help our friends, no matter from which alliance are they.

6. What are your views on possible region swaps between eIreland and the eUK?
eIreland needs that swap, not because of one more resource, it's because otherwise we're stuck on our emerald isle, we can't go nowhere, on one side there are UK and on the other USA and Canada. Plus swap would benefit both nations for sure, 1 more resource is always good thing. That would be a provement that we can be friends and help each other.

7. What are your plans for eIreland?
I'll keep adding knowledge in all ways, we're working on increasing activity, increasing communication and I'll start working on improving our military power soon as well. So far foreign affairs were main subject.

8. With the NAP between the eUK and eIreland, do you feel official peace between our two countries is overdue?
Nah, we had to get bored on nonsenses fight all over again, I've enjoyed them till some point when no one didn't wanted even to try start some fight. It was needed to get us at this point. It's all long process obviously 😃

9. What was the motivation behind the NAP?
NAP is just a first step, I hope after NAP a lots of other things will come and that those things will make our relations much better 🙂

10. What benefits will this pact bring to each of our countries?
Stability and safety for start. Everything which follow will be start of friendship between two of us.

11. Who do you admire in eRepublik?
A lots of people. IBhoy - the Godfather, FRITZHILL, columbia, chewie the ikea, padraig, nataliia, ian e coleman, Sweet Drinker, Romper, Marinko Margarin (the ugly cnt), ante-os, bhane and seriously lots of others...I can't name them all, this was just the first people I had in mind, most recent guys I admire...

Plus a couple of non-eRepublik questions:

12. What other games do you like to play?
None, I used to play Football Manager for a lot of years, and of course PES with buddies, but that's rarely, I'm not gamer type of guy 😛

13. What do you like to do in your spare time when you're not on eRepublik?
Doing nothing after hard day of doing nothing. I'm Croatian, we have special lifestyle. When I woke up I went to my club (the same I'm going in for years) and meet there with friends on coffee. I'm spending a lot of time with my girlfriend, she's usually mad at me when I'm on eRepublik 😛 I play basketball sometimes and of course I'm on college every few weeks lol
